Don't Dread the Shed
Dealing with shedding feels like an uphill battle to most dog lovers. While you may never stop your precious furballs from shedding, you can help to reduce the amount of hair your pet sheds with FURminator. Designed by a professional groomer, this tool reaches beyond the topcoat to remove loose hair from the undercoat. It pulls away loose hair without hurting your dog's skin or damaging his undercoat.

The Gentle Grooming Solution
Chances are, if you're a pet parent, it shows—and not always in a good way. From your couch to your favorite sweater, dog hair can get everywhere. FURminator products work to tackle your shedding problems in the comfort of your own home by targeting the loose hairs of your pal's undercoat without hurting your pup.
The FURminator Advantage
When it comes to fur, no two breeds are alike. For example, did you know that some dogs have two coats? There's a topcoat—the fur you see—and an undercoat, which you don't. With a unique deShedding edge, FURminator reaches through the topcoat to remove loose hair hiding in the undercoat. Regular brushing grooms your pup's topcoat, but only de-shedding removes the loose hairs before they shed.

Less Hair, Less Cleaning
FURminator deShedding tools can help cut down on your cleaning time by removing loose hair before it ends up around the house. That's because most of the hair you get stuck cleaning up—yes, including those furry tumbleweeds—is mostly from your dog's undercoat. This hair gets trapped under the topcoat and then sheds pretty much everywhere—and that is where the FURminator can help.
Shedding Solutions for Every Coat

Perfect for long-haired German Shepherds
By PrincessSophie on Jan 30, 2021
My new GSD is long haired, and my old girl was short haired. I used the old furminator on my old girl and it was great! However, short-haired and long-haired GSDs are very different, and the old brush was too much for my new girl. Enter this furminator. Wow. It’s perfect for a long-haired GSD. Long-haired GSDs don’t have that crazy undercoat, therefore they’re more delicate souls. I can brush her fuzzy ears and all over, and she doesn’t love it, but she doesn’t hate it either. As with all dogs, persistence will conquer all. Great product.

Two-sided Brush is Great
By HappyDog on Feb 25, 2021
When we first took the brush out of the packaging, we were concerned that it was broken. Nope, that's the way the brush is designed! Still haven't gotten used to the flexibility of the brush, but the dogs really like it. The different types of pins make it easy to remove excess hair and smooth the fur of our long-haired pups. Only rated 4 stars because we've only had the brush for a short while and don't know how durable it will be.

Decent for a GSD
By briaandleia on Feb 27, 2021
Bought this for my GSD to pair with my de-shedding blade and undercoat rake. The slicker brush seems to leave more fur on the dog then it does on the comb. Doesn’t do a great job of picking the fur up off of her so I have to use my other brushes to get the loose hair off. I think I’ll stick to my other two brushes since they don’t leave so much fur behind.

Awesome Product
By Furminator on Mar 3, 2021
This is by far, the best grooming tool I have ever used. I have a husky/golden retriever mix that has an undercoat. She is 15 years old and she really doesn't want to be fussed with, but this gentle brush get a lot of fur without a pain.

Gentle brushing
By KTBerk2140 on Feb 7, 2021
My dogs aren't fans of brushing but seem to take to this brush pretty well. It gently rides over their coats getting shed off the upper layer. Of course, as wooly as they are, this brush isn't the end all but it helps with daily brushing and was accepted by both.

Works matting out well
By DoodleOwner on Feb 26, 2021
I have another fine-toothed brush that wasn't dematting as well as this one. This might be too aggressive for a small or sensitive dog, but it makes grooming my Sheepadoodle a lot faster and more effective.

This is AWESOME!
By Bean on Feb 10, 2021
My Keeshonden Willow really likes this Furminator Slicker Brush! It is great for getting to her undercoat and it is gentle on her double coat! She is NOT that excited about grooming time, but she is more relaxed with this Furminator!!! We Love IT~~~~

My Dogs Like to be Brushed Now
By JanetO on Jan 30, 2021
They always would run away when I got the Furminator brush out but now they stand still for this brush although it doesn't get the deep hair off. I wish the hair could be easily taken out by hand but I had to get a small comb to disengage the hair.

Don’t do it
By Badness on Feb 3, 2021
Would not buy it again. It didn’t work like I thought it would. The curry combs have been the best thing I have found so far. My dog did enjoy getting brushed with it so not a total waste of money. I will use it on my cat I guess.

furminator
By brush on Feb 27, 2021
Very sharp bristles that I’ve been cut on multiple times, and my dog hates this brush. There is also no good way to remove the hair without getting stabbed.
