About Fussie Cat

Co-Created by Cats

Instead of just assuming what kind of food cats will like, Fussie Cat lets them call the shots. Each recipe is co-created and taste-tested by cats to make sure your own kitty will love it. Aside from being highly palatable, Fussie Cat wet and dry foods are full of quality meats like boneless chicken, duck, tuna, shrimp and prawns to make sure your little carnivore is getting the protein-rich, feline-appropriate diet she needs.

Made for Meat Lovers

If there's one thing cats crave, it's the rich taste of pure meat. It makes sense, because they're obligate carnivores. Your four-legged friend probably lets you know exactly what she likes, and it's sure to be fish, poultry or meat. Fussie Cat has farm-raised poultry, ocean fish from the South Pacific, and a whole range of interesting seafood options like Threadfin Bream, smoked tuna, mussels, clams and anchovies.

Physiologically Correct Diets

Knowing that cats need meat protein to survive, Fussie Cat developed formulas that they call Physiologically Correct. As true carnivores, their bodies are extremely efficient in processing meat, so 20% of their diet should come from animal proteins. Fussie Cat's foods start with meat, are low in carbs and include a complete spectrum of essential vitamins and minerals. You can be sure your kitty's getting all the necessary amino acids, protein and other nutrients.

Kitty's Choice

With two canned food lines and several tempting dry food options, your cat can always have the dinner she prefers. Fussie Cat Premium is a tuna-based menu that pairs this popular fish with chicken or seafood delicacies. Super Premium is made for chicken lovers with boneless chicken, low sodium levels and plenty of omegas. Market Fresh dry foods are crunchy and delicious, with proteins full of vitamin B12, and antioxidant-rich cranberries and blueberries.

Outstanding Quality Control

Fussie Cat makes their top-quality foods in an FDA-registered kitchen—the same kitchen that produces canned food that's fit for people to eat. Thorough quality inspections are conducted daily for food safety, heavy metals, pathogens, contamination and pesticides, so the end product is everything that you should expect it to be.

About Fussie Cat

Fussie Cat uses a carnivore-friendly, meat-first philosophy to provide wholesome meals that are full of the animal proteins your cat needs to thrive. Meat is always the main course, and carbohydrates only appear in limited amounts. They've created recipes that not only pass the strictest international food safety tests, but also kitty taste tests with flying colors. Cats from all corners of the U.S. will find all their favorites in Fussie Cat's Market Fresh dry foods and flavorful wet foods.

Cats liked taste BUT their body didn’t

Both enjoyed taste and even my picky one who usually doesn’t enjoy dry food would finish his bowl. I noticed after introducing slowly and transitioning them fully to this food that this food didn’t quite agree with either of their bodies (one of my poor boys started having blood in stool and weaker nail beds) and the other had mushier and less shaped stool (even though this usual never happens to the other kitty with a stronger stomach). Although they enjoyed eating it, I’ve since started transitioning them off this food and their stool has started to already improve. Find what works best for your kitties and see how they react to the food. I really wanted to stick with this dry food as I had a picky boy who enjoyed this, but unfortunately neither of my cats’ tummies agreed. If this food works for your cat, this seems like a quality food. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case for us but I’m glad to have finally seen improvement since switching off. :)

Picky cat is obsessed with this

My cat LOVES Fussie cat dry food (except the quail and duck formula)! He gobbles this up and chooses it over lunch meat sometimes!

My cats prefer this

I truly have 2 fussy cats and this is what they like. Since they only will eat fish in canned food it’s perfect

My 1 year olds don't like it

I thought I'd try a new food to switch things up and neither cat likes it. It's ironic given the name Fussie Cat. I have two bags and am not sure what to do with it. Can I send the unopened bag back?

May have caused urinary issues

Parent fail admittedly. I needed to save some money and switched to this food from an excellent one that starts with "O" that they love and have been eating for two years. After about three weeks on this, one of my cats ended up in the ER with urinary disease. Consequently, he ended up on an even more expensive prescription food and there was a hefty bill for the visit. My second cat simply dislike this and will not eat it at all. I went back to the O food for her and am stuck with a second bag of this that I don't even want to donate. I am suspicious of the origen of this food too....

A Total Hit

My cats love this food. I was having a difficult time finding the balance with two of my cats, one who has a super fast metabolism and one who’s metabolism is super slow. This is the first food I’ve tried for them that works for them all, no more separate feedings with three different types of dry food! I’m happy and my cats are definitely happy too.

A hit with my picky boy!

My cat loves Fussie Cat, so happy to see this stuff is sold on here too considering only one place in town sells it. These foods are great for your kitty's health and, in my experience, will make your cat look and feel so much better overall. Dragon is very particular about what he'll eat, so his enthusiasm about this brand is great to see : )
