About Fussie Cat

Co-Created by Cats

Instead of just assuming what kind of food cats will like, Fussie Cat lets them call the shots. Each recipe is co-created and taste-tested by cats to make sure your own kitty will love it. Aside from being highly palatable, Fussie Cat wet and dry foods are full of quality meats like boneless chicken, duck, tuna, shrimp and prawns to make sure your little carnivore is getting the protein-rich, feline-appropriate diet she needs.

Made for Meat Lovers

If there's one thing cats crave, it's the rich taste of pure meat. It makes sense, because they're obligate carnivores. Your four-legged friend probably lets you know exactly what she likes, and it's sure to be fish, poultry or meat. Fussie Cat has farm-raised poultry, ocean fish from the South Pacific, and a whole range of interesting seafood options like Threadfin Bream, smoked tuna, mussels, clams and anchovies.

Physiologically Correct Diets

Knowing that cats need meat protein to survive, Fussie Cat developed formulas that they call Physiologically Correct. As true carnivores, their bodies are extremely efficient in processing meat, so 20% of their diet should come from animal proteins. Fussie Cat's foods start with meat, are low in carbs and include a complete spectrum of essential vitamins and minerals. You can be sure your kitty's getting all the necessary amino acids, protein and other nutrients.

Kitty's Choice

With two canned food lines and several tempting dry food options, your cat can always have the dinner she prefers. Fussie Cat Premium is a tuna-based menu that pairs this popular fish with chicken or seafood delicacies. Super Premium is made for chicken lovers with boneless chicken, low sodium levels and plenty of omegas. Market Fresh dry foods are crunchy and delicious, with proteins full of vitamin B12, and antioxidant-rich cranberries and blueberries.

Outstanding Quality Control

Fussie Cat makes their top-quality foods in an FDA-registered kitchen—the same kitchen that produces canned food that's fit for people to eat. Thorough quality inspections are conducted daily for food safety, heavy metals, pathogens, contamination and pesticides, so the end product is everything that you should expect it to be.

About Fussie Cat

Fussie Cat uses a carnivore-friendly, meat-first philosophy to provide wholesome meals that are full of the animal proteins your cat needs to thrive. Meat is always the main course, and carbohydrates only appear in limited amounts. They've created recipes that not only pass the strictest international food safety tests, but also kitty taste tests with flying colors. Cats from all corners of the U.S. will find all their favorites in Fussie Cat's Market Fresh dry foods and flavorful wet foods.

Kittes won't eat it

My kitties turn up there nose this one. Won't even try it. They love the other Fussie products I have tried. I should have got 1 can to have them try it. Now, I have a case. Hopefully, I will find another cat that will like it.

Veggie Lovers Only

I guess my kitties don’t like peas! The rest is okay. Probably won’t order again. My kitties eat other veggies, however. I’ll have to smash the peas in, to see if that helps. The peas are whole, and I think that’s one of the issues.

3 Paws Down

I'm afraid my 3 cats were not impressed. They loved the chicken, but didn't care for the vegetables. I had to top it off with freeze dried chicken sprinkles to get them to eat. They do love other Fussie Cat flavors such as chicken/duck, chicken/beef, and chicken/tuna.

Where do we go now?

I no sooner put the girls’ bowl of Tuna and Ocean fish in Aspic down for breakfast and it’s gone. I’m down to my last two cans and can’t find it anywhere else. I’ve cleared out the shelves at my local pet store and Chewy’s website says it’s no longer available. This keeps happening. I hate the thought of having to begin the slog of finding yet another food they will eat.

Loves the chicken if I cut it up

I have tried what I believe to be every flavor of Fussie Cat available. My cat seems to love every flavor but won't eat the shreds of chicken. So now I cut them up very fine and she devours it all!

why not more flavors

This is good quality food at a very good price. Why not many more flavors. Fish is great quality and their shredded chicken ones also. I really hope I can buy these with you and not have to go to another place to get them. Thank you

BEWARE OF BONES!

My cats love Fussie Cat more than anything else, but unfortunately it’s too dangerous to keep purchasing. This is not the first time I have found bones and/or cartilage in their food! With the regular Fussie Cat, I had to make it a habit to search each can for fish bones due to their thick sharpness and size. (I included a photo of just a few of those as well.) I tried this premium formula hoping for higher quality, but unfortunately that’s not the case. With the time it takes for me to quality check each can, -(I go through six cans a day)- I’d rather just stop buying this brand. I can’t trust them! The safety of my cats comes first. I felt the need to share my experience so that you know there’s a risk involved if you purchase! Protect your kitties and find another brand.
