Continue to Canada siteWhether you have an aquarium or a terrarium, Galapagos Cholla Wood Branchesrnare a great addition. Made of fallen desert cactus skeleton, these branches are porous and attract shrimps and other microfauna in an aquarium. They’re also naturally great as anchors for growing plants and contain natural tannins that help lower aquatic pH. In a terrarium, the wood acts as a great hiding spot or perch for iguanas, dragons, chameleons, geckos or birds. Branches are available in multiple sizes to fit all tanks. This is also great for use with aquatic turtles, terrestrial turtles, tortoises, aquatic amphibians, terrestrial amphibians, invertebrates, lizards, and snakes.

I purchased this cholla wood for an aquatic snail tank and it's perfect. I am going to use some aquatic glue to attach some Wendelov java ferns to the wood, as well. I am very happy with my purchase!
I needed a medium/large cholla-wood piece to use as a mount for an 'air-orchid'. It's broad at the base, and tapers on top; which means I can stand it vertically or hang it when desired. Whoever chose this piece, picked it as of it was for themselves; it's perfect...!!! Thank you...!!! It's beautiful...!!!
The 36 inch Cholla was exactly as described and on time. A very solid cholla, which is what we needed as a pearch for our Cockatoo.
Got the 24” for our bearded dragon, it’s perfect.
I got the 36" branch for my ball python. It's sturdy and fits well.
Love this so much I ordered 2. They are just what I was searching for.
I have gotten three of these for my rats, one 36 and two 24 (with more on the way) and they're some of the best bang for your buck wood available. The 36 inch was absolutely massive, at least 4 inches in diameter, but it's perfect for spanning levels in my DCN. The 24 inch pieces are right around 2-2.5 inches in diameter, with one having an end that's around 3. These fill the depth of the cage nicely, and would work between the floor and the first shelf. The holes on these are fantastic for scatter feeding, since food gets trapped in them but mostly doesn't get lost. They're also easy to attach with zip ties!
Get a bigger size if available.. My geckos hated them, my Skink is currently stuck inside one and trying to get her free.. Just don't buy these..
I bought these for my snakes terrarium. They came quickly and look great in there with him!
I paid for the 36” branched version and received a completely branchless piece of wood. Total rip off.
