About Galliprant Tablets

Osteoarthritis Pain Relief

Galliprant® (grapiprant tablets) helps you safely and effectively treat your dog's osteoarthritis pain in a different way. It specifically targets a key osteoarthritis pain receptor in dogs, plus it helps reduce inflammation. Help your dog get back to leading an active and happy life with a treatment that's made just for osteoarthritis.

First of Its Kind

Galliprant® is a highly selective Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drug, focusing on the pain receptor associated with osteoarthritis to provide potent, targeted relief. It can be prescribed for dogs in the earliest stages of osteoarthritis and is suitable for puppies 9 months and older weighing 8 lbs and above.

Breaks the Cycle of Osteoarthritis

By reducing inflammation that restricts joint movement and relieving pain that discourages exercise, Galliprant helps keep your dog more active. Regular exercise prevents weight gain that can erode joints, and movement helps to strengthen muscles to hold joints in better alignment. These factors combine to reduce joint stress and help reduce future inflammation and pain.

Safe for Daily Use

Because osteoarthritis is a lifelong condition, the ideal treatment should be safe to use every day. Galliprant works by targeting a key osteoarthritis pain receptor in dogs and not the enzymes that maintain kidney and liver function. *Monitoring is recommended if used long-term. See additional important safety information.

Easy To Give

Galliprant® comes in a convenient pork-flavored chewable tablet that tastes great and is easy to give by hand or in food. Giving your pup his daily pain relief medicine shouldn't cause either of you extra grief.

Indication

Galliprant® (grapiprant tablets) is an NSAID indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.

Important Safety Information

Not for use in humans. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Monitoring is recommended if used long term. Should not be used in dogs who are allergic to grapiprant or with other anti-inflammatory drugs. The safe use of Galliprant has not been studied in dogs younger than 9 months of age and less than 8 pounds, breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs, or dogs with heart disease. The most common adverse reactions were vomiting, diarrhea, decreased appetite and tiredness.

About Galliprant

Galliprant® (grapiprant tablets) was made to target canine osteoarthritis pain and inflammation in a way that other NSAIDs don't. It works by directly blocking the key receptor associated with osteoarthritis arthritis pain and joint inflammation to provide effective relief in a daily chewable. Help break the cycle of inflammation, pain and inactivity that keeps your pup from getting out there and doing the things he loves. Galliprant is a trademark of Elanco or its affiliates. Worth it!

My 100# Sheepadoodle has been struggling with arthritis pain for months and we’ve been through every option medication and treatment wise. He had problems with other NSAIDS, and I was desperate. THIS medication has made such a huge difference for our boy. He is enjoying his life again, doing dogs things, and getting into things again. He’s on a few different things, but this one changed everything for him. It means everything to see my boy interested in life again. He’s always been a handful, and thanks to this, he is back to his old tricks, as he should be.

Grandpa Dog

Our dog is 14 and 3/4 years old. These pills have really helped with his stiffness. His gait and sleeping are much better. He looks forward to having them each night. "Grandpa dog, do you want your pills?" he comes right up, tail wagging. He has had no side effects and usually everything gives him an upset tummy.

Great medication

This medication works well for my dog. The only thing I would suggest of chewy is that you put cotton in the bottle when you ship it. My bottle contained a lot of powder on the sides and I hate to see all that powder there because this is a very expensive medication, and I would rather have that powder stay on the pill.

Seems to work

My retired racing greyhound was having a lot of trouble getting up and down from his bed, and jumping into and out of the car. The vet recommended this as a start to see if it helped him, and I think it does, but it sure is hard to tell when your dog can't really tell you. He was never yelping in pain or whining, so I can't use that as a benchmark. And he still races out the back door and across the yard when I let him out. I'm just giving him half a tablet per day, which does help with the cost.

Amazing customer service

I accidently overlooked that my dogs meds were delivered to an old address and unable to trace them down. Chewy helped us out by sending another order to correct address. I will forever be a loyal customer. Fantastic customer service.

Good Stuff

Our Stuart takes 3 meds for arthritis & this is one of them. We feel its good because he's doing so well, however I'm sure its just part of the combo he's on. ALWAYS consult your vet & know that Chewy makes getting your meds easy & they're less expensive than buying them from your vet.

Drug Trial basis for Senior Labrador

Jackson, 13 yrs 5 mos, has been on Carprofen for last 4 years for Arthritis pain. His Vet recommended the Galiprant beleiving it to be easier tolerated on a senior dog's internal organs. Therefore, this first prescription is a trial basis to see how Jackson does going forward.

Works Great!

Galliprant should be called "galli- prance". My 20 yo golden is acting younger! This med is expensive, but easier on an older dog's kidneys. She also has lymphoma and whatever keeps her feeling good is fine by me!

Great Medication-Carrier crushed the box

Chewy's price on this med is 1/2 that of my vet. I love Chewy and recommend they use a different carrier. The medicaton came in a box that was crushed and opened. Thankfully the medication was not harmed.

Took a long time

In order to get this med I had to get a printed prescription and mail it to chewy before they send the medications. I don’t see why this is necessary. If you can’t trust the prescription coming from my email why not get directly from the vet and call the vet to confirm.
