It was handy until I washed it. It shrank on the top rack of the dishwasher. Too bad.

I use it when I go on a long walk or road trip.................................................

We keep this thing in our travel trailer for use with our 60 lb vizsla. He eats one cup twice a day, so its perfect for our usual three day trips. (If I need more, I just toss more kibble into a gallon ziplock...I'd LOVE if this travel-tainer came in a 10 cup size for our 4-5 day trips!) Otherwise, it's perfect. Keeps the food fresh, and I always have a bowl for both food and water. He doesn't have a problem drinking or eating out of the bowls, although they do get pushed around the floor a bit.

We use this all the time. It's great when on the road or in the house.

Handy little device... but don’t put it in the dishwasher... duh!

I like that this keeps the food fresh and you have two bowls that will stay with the container easily. However, I kept almost losing the black handle. The bowls were also a challenge for my dog, especially for food, because they are light and slippery. It’s hard to find travel stuff that is compact and as good as your home stuff. This is a reasonable short term solution with modifications.

I thought the description of this item seemed perfect for taking our cat on the road with us and I was right! The handle keeps the two bowls together on the ends of the inside container (which actually had its own lid). The inside container holds 6 cups of dry food which was perfect for our getaway. The bowls are perfect for food and water. And, the blue color was an added bonus. Chewy comes through again!

I wash everything before use - especially these days. Never got to use this because the inside melted when I put it in the dishwasher. Now looking back at the reviews, others have posted that it isn't dishwasher safe and I'm just mad at myself, but it really should be more clear up front.

Love this container and the fact that the bowls are included. Just wanted to share this tip - the container itself is NOT dishwasher safe. Found out the hard way. But I like it so much that I am replacing it. ~K

I ordered this for a cross country move and I love it! It was perfect for what I needed for my cat. Shame on me for not paying attention to the size, it was 2x bigger than what I expected...but still perfect!
