  • 1st bag was ok, 2nd one wasn't

I decided to switch to flushable litter, so i have tried SEVERAL brands over the last few weeks. First and foremost, i love the way this litter clumps, not just among the flushables, but among every single litter i have tried over the last 10 years - nothing compares to how this clumps. The problem with the first bag was after about 1 1/2 weeks the litter held an undeniable urine odor, which is weird because it clumps so well and every ounce of urine is being removed in clumps. So that was a waste of half the bag. The first bag flushed incredibly well. I followed the instructions and let the clumps sit in the toilet for about 20 minutes and so no problems. The second bag, which so far has not started to smell like urine is not flushing well AT ALL - even after sitting for 8 hours. My toilet has absolutely clogged because of this. So unfortunately, i won't be flushing this anymore. I may still use it because of how well it clumps, however, it does not hide odors very well, so i scoop right away when i can. It's also easy to sweep up and most importantly ABSOLUTELY NO DUST. And just for reference, I tend to the litter boxes regularly - at least once or twice daily. … more

  • Flushable Litter For The Win

    By on

The tiny grains are super light and track everywhere, but they flush easily. These small grains don't travel as much, but they need a lot of soak time prior to flushing. Pick your battle, but if you're in a tenth floor apartment in the city like me, it's a battle worth fighting to not have to deal with cat garbage on the daily. Works excellent partnered with Nature's Miracle disposable boxes - no bag drama!

  • Was great... now not so much

    By on

I decided to give this a try since the price of my go-to dust-free litter kept inching up. When I purchased a few bags of this litter for the first time, there was no dust at all and I was thrilled. I repurchased a couple more bags, and this time it was SO DUSTY. I have a thick white film of litter dust on the surface of everything. I don't know if it was a bad batch or what. The clumping action remained the same as far as I could tell. I had considered giving it one more chance, but I just can't. I can handle tracking, but not dust. Unfortunately, I will have to go back to what I using before (more expensive, but consistently not dusty).

  • Best Cat Litter Ever

    By on

Perfectly clumps urine with no smell, and 100% does not stick to litterbox! Poop needs to be removed soon as it doesn't cover the poop smell as well, but since its flushable, I keep it near my toilet and flush the poop after it happens. Super simple. Never going back to another litter!

  • Formula Changed For Worse!

    By on

This used to be great litter. One of our cats has asthma, and this litter had zero dust. Literally never saw any dust. Until I received our last shipment, opened two bags, and - dust everywhere during pouring, dust poofing up while scooping. It isn't clumping as solid, and it doesn't look as "pure" (there are specs of "something" in there). Dusty litter is bad for kitties to breathe in general, but especially for those with respiratory problems (and us parents).

  • Perfect for my big kitty

In order to leave an accurate review I apologize for having to share some less than glamorous details about my cats. Instead of peeing several times a day I have two cats who only pee once or twice a day, and WOO BUDDY when they pee THEY PEE. We have had trouble time and time again with them peeing so much in one spot that they will completely saturate the litter and it will get all mushy instead of clumping. I have tried IT ALL walnut litter, corn cob litter, clay litter, pine litter...and NOTHING clumps like this litter clumps. I am almost excited to scoop their litter boxes because it is so easy now! This forms HARD CLUMPS and I will not be going back to anything else. • Litter and shipping

    By on

I have found Garfield litter to be the best for our longhair cat with Feline Lower Urinary Syndrome. I can see easily if he has a problem because it is white. It clumps well. Chewy is a great shipper. I get what I need within two days. This is great especially when I don’t realize I am getting low on something or when I want to need a new product and the local pet store doesn’t have it. Their prices are reasonable.

  • Garfield Small Grains

    By on

I changed over to try the small grains from the tiny grains and certainly found tiny grains MUCH better! This product doesn't flush well, clogs the toilet. The small grains doesn't have a good scent control, a much smellier environment. Small grains does not work well in an auto-clean litter box, clogs the cleaning unit of the machine. Must use much more to keep the pan filled. Definitely switching back to tiny grains.

  • Easy To Clean

    By on

This litter is very easy to clean and it doesn't stick like tar like clumping clay litters do which is nice. But it does track every where and I need to completely change out the box at least every 2 weeks, not once a month as advertised. I prefer the tiny grains to the small ones.

  • Garfield cat litter

    By on

My 3 cats are 13-17 years old and very picky about litter. So far my cats are using small grain Garfield litter. They did not like Pretty Litter. It does track but not as much as some litter. The clumps are very hard and do stick to the pan but peel of with a little effort. I have Cat Genie systems in my bathrooms so do not flush this litter. After years my cats are only using the Cat Genie sporadically. All 3 of my cats pee against sides of boxes and this litter is superior to other types of clumps that become moist mud and are so messy.
