  • Garfield cat litter

    By on

My 3 cats are 13-17 years old and very picky about litter. So far my cats are using small grain Garfield litter. They did not like Pretty Litter. It does track but not as much as some litter. The clumps are very hard and do stick to the pan but peel of with a little effort. I have Cat Genie systems in my bathrooms so do not flush this litter. After years my cats are only using the Cat Genie sporadically. All 3 of my cats pee against sides of boxes and this litter is superior to other types of clumps that become moist mud and are so messy.

  • Hands Down the Best

It's so hard to find an amazing clumping litter. I went through 4 different types of litter recommend from other pet owners and was not satisfied with it. With two cats I need a litter that won't break apart as I'm scooping. A friend said try the Garfield litter and it's so worth the price. The litter clumps so quickly and so efficiently. It doesn't get stuck on the litter pan! It also has a pleasant smell. When scooping I don't have to worry that the litter will break apart which is what I was looking for making clean up a breeze. I wish I could give this 20 stars.

  • Good Litter

I was looking for a light litter for scooping purposes, and this did fit the bill for that issue but, is was so light that it was thrown out of the boxes when the cats covered their waste that it got on the floor in great quantities every time, which made clean up a bigger issue.

  • Best Cat litter ever.

This is the best cat litter I have used in 30 years. There’s no dust —I use the purple bag which has bigger grain size. My oldest cat has asthma and the worlds best cat litter plus some of the others in that same category were adding problems to his breathing. I saw this Garfield litter & decided to give it a try. I had never heard of it before. Clumps like cement. Perfect.

  • Lasts longer than any other

We have been trying out different litters for years, searching for the best one and this is it so far. It has a lot less dust than the crystal litter or any other kind we have tried (clay, corn, walnut). It also clumps better than anything else, and we love being able to simply flush the poop when we don't have time for fully scooping the litter. We have not had success with flushing the pee because the clumps don't dissolve even after hours left in the toilet. It smells the least and lasts the longest of anything we have tried. Our cats instantly preferred this litter to the Crystal and Walnut based litters we were using before. This Garfield litter actually does last for weeks because it clumps so efficiently! It seems more expensive per ounce, but since it lasts longer it is actually cheaper for us than the crystal litter. … more

  • No mess litter

    By on

I'm honestly only taking the time to write this review because I like his cat litter so much. I've shopped around, trying everything out there, trying to stay with natural products to protect the cats from chemicals. This is heavy enough to reduce tracking, it clumps and is easily scoopable.

  • only bought it because it was half price

    By on

When I saw this in the store and read that the package claimed this litter was both flushable and non-tracking I thought "yes! Finally!" but I don't think I'll buy it again. Although it does control odor well and is flushable (after leaving it in the toilet for 20-30 minutes...don't forget it's there!), it is one of the worst litters for tracking that I've used. Scamper tracks it everywhere, all over the room, in her bed, it's just a mess. The convenience of being able to flush litter clumps is not worth the extra time and effort of sweeping and vacuuming so much more than with the previous brand of litter.

  • It’s so bad that I’m writing this at 2 AM to warn you

    By on

Thought this would be a good (less expensive) alternative to Pretty Litter. Oh, was I ever wrong... Absolutely horrendous litter. 1) Zero odor control. I literally had to clean it every time one of my cats pooped or else you could smell it from the bathroom, into the bedroom. If I was at work when one of the cats pooped and couldn’t clean out the box till I got home, the smell would linger for hours after I dumped it. 2) Definitely not flushable, despite being advertised as such. 3) Tracked everywhere. I love my cats, but I wouldn’t have them if this were the only option for cat litter on the market. Disgusting, waste of money.

  • Best Cat Litter....safe for Kittens too....

    By on

I've toilet trained my smart little Bengal Kitten with Litter Kwitter but the steps involved using Kitty Litter. The clay drove me crazy and was so much work and messy...always getting in between Kitty's paws and dust everywhere. Once we got to the 2nd stage I needed to have a flushable litter since it falls through the hole on the toilet into the water. This was perfect. It has a sweet smell too....so much that my kitty once in a while would eat a little...but he eats EVERYTHING. I've recently reordered since he was Neutered and wearing a cone it's a bit hard for him to get up on the toilet so I went back to the litter box. Funny, but he preferred the floor and within a day was back on the toilet I've toilet trained my smart little Bengal Kitten with Litter Kwitter but the steps involved using Kitty Litter. I keep this litter on hand just in case I need to use his trays on the toilet for more support if he's had any medical issues or an upset tummy. Works great and safe for pipes. … more

  • Best Litter Ever

    By on

First time I bought this was because it happened to be on sale at the local grocery store. Turns out to be the best litter I have ever used. Clumps beautifully but doenst stick to the pan; no odor & no dust. It does track a bit but slightly less than other litter. My cat is medium/long hair and there is no litter that won't still to his paws but I haven't noticed any sticking to rest of his fur, which is surprising for a clumping litter. It is a little pricey, but since it is so good at clumping and eliminating odor, I have been able to extend the life of the bag significantly.
