Bought for one dog, used for the other
So we got this stroller to use for our recently rescued American Pocket Bully. After pouring over reviews of several strollers, I thought this one would be big enough for her and tall enough for my husband. She has very short legs and gets winded/over heated. We also like to visit breweries where dogs are welcome. It turned out to be just a hair too short for her length wise but when our chihuahua mix saw us putting it together, he lost his mind! He was so excited thinking we got HIM a new stroller that we didn’t have the heart to return it for a larger one for Harley. Toby was bouncing around and so happy that we picked him up and plopped him in it and I swear he smiled. He had been using a hand me down stroller from our other dog (who sadly passed away from cancer) and it was kind of in a rough shape. However, Toby really doesn’t go places often (he is also a rescue, elderly and not a social dog, a jerk really) but he likes to sleep in a stroller next to the couch or walk around the neighborhood in one. Needless to say, the old man got this stroller which is amazing, rolls nicely and I like that the mesh goes up into the hood instead of down into the bed of the stroller. We ended up buying a large jogging stroller from a small local pet boutique for Harley.
Gen7Pets Promenade stroller
We have a 13 pound Havanese and this is more than large enough for him. He had his first stroller ride while in AZ recently, sat in one for the first time and we took him to a restaurant with outside service and he loved it. He was able to sit between my husband and me and be part of the group, stayed in it and curled up and went to sleep. Since that first ride, it helped him to be around some other dogs and get comfortable with them before walking amongst them. Great investment! Will come in handy for other excursions. Would recommend getting one for older dogs, anxious dogs, any age.
Love this stroller
I love this stroller. It is durable, easy to collapse, and my Clyde loves riding in it. I bought my first Gen7 stroller about 7 years ago, it was used everyday for work and it is still in very good condition and now belongs to a senior dog.
Great for dog and cats!
We purchased this for our senior dog so we wouldn’t have to carry him home from long walks. It has worked out well. There is a zipped compartment for balls/treats/ jackets underneath the stroller . As an added bonus, our 2 indoor cats love it and now go for short morning walks with us. All our animals approve.
It works but lacking instruction
Is the front wheel supposed to swivel when you turn, because mine isn't and just skids when you turn a corner. Also no where in the instructions does it tell you how to use the rear brakes or what the button and slide on the handle are for/ how to use them. My stroller won't fully collapse so trying to store it is challenging!
Corona beauty gets wheels!
I love taking my Toy Australian Shepherd shopping with me. I was in the market for a Dog Stroller that I could open easily, would work for my 28 pound dog and zipper so she would not lick or bother other shoppers. I choose this one because it met all the criteria and works perfectly! Stella is happy rolling around in her new stroller!
Great Product for my Cat!
My cat actually seems to be really enjoying this stroller; he's usually very nervous about leaving home -former stray- but I've noticed that the two times we've been out, he's been curious and able to sit and observe his surroundings without trying to escape, the way he does with his carrier. Can't wait to continue taking him for walks now!
Well built sturdy stroller. Remember when you put together, it’s easier if you adjust the brake when putting on the wheels. Love Chewy for their fast delivery!!
Puppy loves stroller
I bought this stroller to be able to take our new Dachshund wirey terrier mix puppy out and about safely. My husband uses a wheelchair and while I push his wheelchair, he holds on to the stroller with the dog riding in front of him. Our pup loves this stroller so much she actually sleeps and plays quietly with her toys in it while I am working from home. My adult kids all commented that this stroller is nicer than the one I had for them when they were babies. Love it. Great purchase. Well made.
This stroller is sturdy and built well. I am glad we chose this one even though the price was more than others, it is quality built.
