Thankful for this dog food
We rescued a shelter dog that almost died from multiple illnesses. This is the only food that helped fix his intestinal problems. He has normal stools now and his hair is healthy again. It even eased allergy problems he’s been having. He’s not scratching his fur off anymore. I am thankful I found this food for him.
Gentle Giant
I have a Rhodesian Ridgeback that is 8 months, I want her to live a long time. After checking on ingredients for all different types of dog or puppy food, I felt this food was the best fit. At 8 months she is a healthy almost 69lb. Pup. And she loves Gentle Giant.
Not the right flavor for my girl
I have to throw away 18lbs of the salmon flavored dry food. She absolutely refused for 3 days. She loves chicken so I am ordering the chicken flavor.
The Best Dog Food Ever!
The headline says it all. Gentle Giant has all the best ingredients and my dogs absolutely love it. I will be buying it through Chewy indefinitely.
Has hair throughout the bag
Just now opened a new bag.. Went to give a little to my dog and noticed some hair in it. Thought maybe it had been in the measuring cup, so cleaned that out, got more, and saw more hair in it. Sifted thru and even more. Unfortunately, I'll be throwing in the garbage.. and afraid to order more.
Good product
Very happy with this food. They seemed to love the salmon flavor. All flavors seem to work for them.
Gentle giants dog food
Bought a bag of gentle giants food for our dogs as a trial. They loved it and we have already seen a vast improvement in their energy. We are amazed. Placed on auto ship.
Sounds Delicious.
Exceptionally crunchy. Don’t worry, I have not eaten any of this brand ( my husband warned me that I could get sick). Fraiser loves it and eats it to the last morsel. I never heard of it. Someone, waiting at a get-together for their wife to go home, mentioned it and got my attention when they said it claims to help extend the life of larger breeds. Hmmmm. I looked at its wide variety of interesting ingredients and was sold. It hits all the right nails in nutrition, price, and curb appeal and I took the time to do the research until I sensed the right choice for my dog. The fish-based recipe is best if you have any allergies in the pet. I supplement this food with organ-based treats (liver, heart, lung: freeze-dried), of course water, then call it a day. Chewy was the only one who offered the fish variety. So There it Is. Blessings!
Picky eater
My Rottie is super picky and pushes her food out of the bowl if she don’t like it, but the moment I had her try this she loves it. Eats it all and happy I finally found something she loves
good canine nutrition
I was nervous to try this Salmon-based kibble without being able to smell it first, my doggos are kind of sensitive to scents (bad pun, sorry). Some fishy foods are just toooo fishy, and they smell up the house and dog beards. Not here, I actually had to double check the bag and make sure I got the right one. The size of the kibble is easy for them to chow down, and apparently the flavor and aroma is acceptable to both the geriatric and generic dog. Win-win. Thanks!
