Germ Guardian AC4100 HEPA Filter Small Air Purifier

Works but loud

It seems to do what it says it does, but it's pretty loud. My husband works from home and we've installed it in his office where we have a litter box. At first the cats were afraid of it, but we moved it as far away from the litter as we could. He turns it off during the day when he's on a conference call, then puts it back on in the evening and overnight. I might get another one for the bedroom to use for the white noise specifically. We have a small house and 3 cats.

I ordered this July 2021 and it’s still running strong! It was originally for our dog room at the house, it’s since been moved to the semi truck. It runs daily and keeps the dog dander, germs and various pollen and dust from traveling in different states. It runs non stop. We do need to change the filter more often but, it has relieved us of having to take allergy medicine. Amazing!

We think this little guy was a major help in reducing the coughs our kitty had. We keep it near the litter box and vacuum the pre-filter every 2 weeks. Works great.

Very loud

Reviews I read claimed this is "whisper quiet"; simply not the case. I bought this to use in my bedroom but highly doubt I will sleep with the noise. Very disappointed.

Small but powerful

I purchased 2 of these as replacements for another brand and I plugged them in and was very impressed with how quickly the air was cleaned. Setup was so easy. Hopefully the replacement filters are readily available (that was the prob with the other ones). They are louder running, but I've gotten used to them. Easy to set up and affordable, can't go wrong.

I ordered a smaller version of this air purifier and did not find it effective. When I wrote a begative review about it, Chewy customer servuce reached out to either issue me a refund or order a different model for me. I chose to order this model (Germ Guardian AC4100 HEPA Filter Small Air Purifierl) and am very pleased. It truly makes a difference in the small bathroom where our Litter Robot is located. Already notice a difference!

Today I got my air purifier and I swear I’m already noticing a difference. I have this set up on my tv stand and I already love it! I have a golden doodle and a cat. It already feels like there’s odor control in my living room. It’s super quiet and does not take up a lot of room. My family has seasonal allergies so it will be interesting to see if this helps relieve some of that. I also can’t wait to test out the UV light especially when my kiddos are sick. So far so good!

Perfect for doing what is made for!

This is my 3rd Germ Guardian! It is the perfect size & price to do what it's made for. My daughter & I both have allergies & asthma, get colds like everyone else, have 2 furbabies, get pollen in the spring & more dust in our apartment in the winter becauseof the heat & they take care of alot of the issues bye cleaning the air & making us feel healthier, breathe better & circulate the clean air after it goes through the filters! Who ever made this particular model should get a raise! Would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!!!

This little machine is amazing, freshens the air,removes hard strong orders and produces a gentle breeze. I have 2 large dogs and a 31lbs sulcata tortoise in my bedroom all is fresh.
