GF Pet Alpine Puffer Dog Coat

My pup and I both love this coat. It fits beautifully, keeping him warm and cozy comfortably, but the of the most unique and greatest things about this one is how easy it is to put on him. You do have to sacrifice a touch of coverage for it to be so easy and comfy. So I have another coat for the most frigid days or long snow play (we live in an extremely cold place). But it’s worth it to get two because this one is great!

Excellent on the sizing for my Great Dane! It’s thick so warm. But just an FYi - we went to our dog park this morning on our FIRST use and while playing rolled around in the mulch. Result - the inside warm sherpa part? Covered in totally UNREMOVABLE mulch. I googled for ideas which only slightly helped. Vacuum? No. Lint roller/duct tape? No. Fine tooth comb? Maybe but removes Sherpa. Tweezers? Yes but hundreds to remove

We bought another coat (from a different website) and while it looked nice, our dog hated the elastic bands that were supposed to go around his legs. He literally just refused to move. With this new coat, not only do we love the color scheme more, but our dog adjust to wearing it super quickly. He now will wear it while playing catch (running and jumping) with the frisbee at the park! He even pulls the coat off the shelf when we tell him to put his coat on. He knows it means he gets to do something fun even though it is cold. Loved this jacked when I saw it. Teal, orange and aqua looks so vintage ski jacket like my dog should be on the ski slopes! They were out of the teal so we opted for aqua which also looks great. Fit is fantastic. I will say the cut is slightly generous which is not something I find in clothing for large dogs. This coat is made well, so cute and we love it. My Labrador retriever is 94 lbs and has a large barrel chest. He fit the 3XL best. The 4XL was a little long and he has a long body. I do not recommend sizing up at all. I found this true to measurements listed on item. LOVE IT! A win for big dogs.

We purchased this coat because we wanted to avoid leg holes. Our pup didn't love having her legs put in/out of the leg openings of her old coat. We love that this coat fastens with velcro under the belly and by the neck. The sherpa lining feels soft and thick so she'll be nice and warm for Chicago winter. She's a little over 5 months old and weighs around 40 lbs. We purchased an XL.

This is a pretty fun coat. I love how bright the color options were. My dog is an Australian cattle dog mix, 30 lbs and wears a large. I thought he’d be a medium because he’s on the smaller size, but that was just a bit too tight. It’s super soft on the inside. It keeps him nice and dry (where it covers) when we go on chilly walks in the rain and snow.

This is THE best winter coat I've found for my dogs. The outer shell is wind and water resistant, and easily wipes clean. Best of all, the popcorn sherpa lining is very warm--you can even feel the heat when the coat is removed. I also like the wide belly band and neck closure, and the tough velcro fasteners. I bought this coat in a XL as my pointer mix's measurements are 26" chest/18" neck/22" back. It fit her perfect in the chest and core but it looked like it should be longer on her back. I ordered a XXL and tried that on her. It was less snug in the chest area and core but perfect length down her back. I decided to keep the XL and return the XXL as I figured it's better to keep her chest warm than her rear end. This is the first coat I've found that has a snug fit to keep the warmth in which is especially important for my short-hair. All the others flapped in the cold wind. I'm so impressed with this well made coat, worth every penny. Will definitely keep my dog warm and will last a long time. Looks to be waterproof on the outside and the inside is so warm and soft. My Pitweiller puppy is 5 months old. She weighs 55 Lbs, neck 19", chest 29", long 26" (from neck to base of tail). I got the XX large and it fits perfect. Only negative it doesn't have a harness opening just has a collar opening. If you get this coat, you won't be disappointed.

Ordered a 3XL for my 80# golden retriever. Fits perfect. Easy to put on. Once you Velcro neck opening you can just slip it on and off over head without fastening again. Velcro is super super grippy. We had below zero weather for over a week and dog stayed warm and toasty. My only improvement would be that somehow it was designed for under belly Velcro to be changed to secure on upper back. Awkward to get to underside to fasten. The Velcro is so grippy I have to flatten out fluffy belly fur so it doesn’t get caught in Velcro. Other than that it’s the best fitting warm coat ever.
