Glad For Pets Activated Carbon Dog Training Pads offer potty pads with a name you trust. These carbon-activated pads are made with five layers of Glad-level strength for leak-proof protection and odor neutralization. The quilted technology works to lock in up to three cups of liquid, preventing spreading and stains, while the polymer layer turns the liquid into gel. The activated carbon layer is designed to absorb all odor and yellow spots, leaving nothing but an easy-to-toss pad behind. These pads are perfect for training puppies or new dogs, helping out senior dogs, or even lining your crate or carrier.

All these bad reviews must have bigger dogs who pee a lot, and I'm pretty sure some of these people are using the pads flipped over incorrectly (the darker solid black side is supposed to face down...there's at least one bad review picture of the pad being used incorrectly). I have two elderly male dogs each under 8lbs and these are exactly what I needed. I really love that they're black so there aren't unsightly yellow pee spots, however, it is sometimes hard to tell if the pad has been used and if it's time to change it. I have these plastered over all the corners in my kitchen because that's where they love to hike their legs. I can leave them up for a week before I notice a smell. It seems like these are probably best for small dogs who don't pee gallons at a time. I'd recommend them!
For some reason my puppy didn't like these. I tried 3 at different times and he tried to eat and tear up. Other plain pads. He uses and leaves them alone. Yet these he chews and tries to eat. I don't need that at all. It could cause a blockage. So now I am stuck with the rest. I will never buy these kinds again.
These pads may be cheaper than others offered for sale, but they are very thin and if the puppy pees too close to the edge it goes onto the floor
These economical pads work well for my 9-pound female Maltipoo. They are a good size for the silicone tray underneath to hold them. The black/gray color is because of the carbon-activated, odor-neutralizing features. But I don't think I would agree with using them for "all size breeds."
I live in an apartment. I use the pads with Potty Grass on my balcony so when I am at work my pup can go outside and use it. Glad has changed the quality of their pads... gotten cheaper. They are thinner and less absorbing.
These were so-so. They are very thin and on hardwood floors they are always crumpling up. Our beloved senior dog misses half the time, so we'll be using larger sized ones and thicker in the future. I am not sure if the carbonr really works as an attractant because she still pees and poops all over the house, only sometimes making it somewhat near the regaulr and the carbon pads.
I recently switched to these pads because the other ones I usually get are out of stock. The urine went through the pad and onto the floor, more than once. These do not work well for my dog at all. I will not be buying them again in the future.
They are the most absorbent, quickest to absorb, and eliminate pee odor. My new go to brand of pee pads.
Bought these so I was able to use my coupon thinking that they would be better then the regular generic ones I had. My dogs pee does not absorb and runs right off the pad and on to the floor now I am stuck with 100 of these things.
This look much nicer than the white ones but they leak. Tried three boxes worth and they all leak through the back.
