My husband and I chose to have a mixed tank, including glofish. We have red, green, orange, and purple glofish. Mixed with them, we have swordtails, zebra danios, a cory catfish, and a rubberlip pleco. We have no desire for everything to glow so we didn't use glofish plants or gravel. Instead we have white sand substrate and regular plastic plants. We are very happy with this new light.
Nice blue color and light fixture will purchase again
This was ordered by mistake. I thought I was ordering the color changing light not a regular blue light! My Neoglow tank already has blue lights built into to so I had no use for this light however since my tank lights are so bright it is nice to shut them off and only turn this one on for a darker effect which is nice while gaming.
Had this for 6 months and it sits on inside edge of tank under hood. Not even in the water. Doesn’t work anymore.
My tank is a little big for this size but works just as great. I was really surprised with the size and how well it works.
I bought this "light" to replace the one I had that died. I guess I had too high of expectations that by being named a light, it might actually produce light. it might be half a watt. I've been in confessionals that had better lighting. I'm not sure the fish can see it. Plus, one of the clips broke as soon as I tried to attach it.
I bought this, base on Review glad I did get this , I did add this to inside of Hood as second Lighting , but need to get Suction Cups , but did come up with way for time being .. It's very pretty Blue Lighting , have it next to 15inch Led Brite Lighting that has Big Suction Cups . In later afternoon have Brite Led Lighting on ..At night have Blue Lighting on . I did wrap this Blue Light in plastic so moisture don't get to it .
I put some neon items in my tank and this makes the tank really light up. Good for “dusk” lighting for fish so they aren’t going from bright light to dark.
