For some reason Petsmart quit carrying this item. It is nice to know that Chewy carries it. We not only use it on our cats but also our rabbits (malt flavor only)

Not All Cats Like Hairball Remedy
By Carol on Sep 4, 2020
We have 6 cats, 3 of them like it and one of them loves it. If I pick up the tube, Smokey starts licking his lips and looks up at me just waiting for his taste. Then I have 2 who don't like it at all, they still get some though. I just have to stick in their cheek real quick. But I wouldn't be without hairball remedy.

My cat wouldn't touch this stuff. I thought she would like the malt flavor, but no. Smells like Maltomeal and is not very thick.

They changed the formula
By ABuhler on Aug 18, 2019
All of my cats use to loved this brand they would fight each other to lick off my finger. I have 7 cats. However, GNC has changed the formula :( Now it has a gritty texture and is runny. It used to be thick and have a brown/amber color now it is a pasty tan color. The smell must be different too because now when they sniff it they quickly turn away from it. None of my cats will eat it. I tried smearing on their paws but because it is so runny in consistency they sling it everywhere when shaking their paw...UGHHHH freakin mess! So disappointed will not be ordering this anymore.

Great stuff
By Erin on Sep 12, 2019
I use this for my little Pom-mix. He loves it and doesn’t go through the cycle of coughing, lethargy and loss of appetite...then gagging and retching until it comes out. Rinse and repeat. Yes I brush him religiously.

I can Only speculate that it tastes Yummy. My Two are pushing each other out of the way to get to it. They lick it right off my finger I do not have time to even get it to the spoon...and so far no Hairballs.
