Feeding Instructions

Adult: Feed about 1 can per 6 - 8 lbs body weight per day Kitten: Feed up to 2x the amount as Adults to kittens Gestation and Lactation: Feed up to 3x the normal Adult amount.

Feed at room temperature and refrigerate unused portion. Always provide access to clean, fresh water. The amount of food your cat requires will depend on activity level, age, breed of cat, and climate.

Transition Instructions

It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change. On day one, introduce 10% new food / 90% old food. Keep the food at this ratio for 2 or more days. Next, increase the ratio to 20% new food / 80% old food for 2 or more days. Repeat increasing in increments of 10% until you’re feeding 100% of the new food. If your pet experiences any kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process to let his/her digestive tract adjust to the new food. Some vomiting and/or diarrhea can be normal when introducing new foods as the digestive process and the naturally occurring bacteria your pet’s body requires is a complex and delicate system. If you experience any vomiting and/or diarrhea, be sure to reduce the amount of new food the next time you feed and overall, slow the whole transition period down even more.

I followed the feeding guidelines on your packaging, but my pet is too fat/thin. Why?

Feeding Guidelines are simply a place to start. You should increase or decrease the amount you feed based on your pet’s activity level and weight.

Are the ingredients used in Petcurean products “human-grade”?

All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.

What is an organic ingredient?

A certified organic ingredient provides a guarantee that the ingredient has met strict government standards for how food is grown, handled and processed; using organic agricultural methods. Organic agriculture focuses on farming practices that encourage soil and water conservation and regeneration, and reduces pollution. Organic farmers use natural fertilizers and pest control methods to benefit the soil, plants and animals for a healthy environment.

    Cats think it’s delish!!

    By on

We recently switched over from grain free, to these cans of Go instead. Our cats absolutely love these and get very excited when the can is opened. Something about this flavor and mixture makes them go crazy, we love how happy they are. They clean their dishes completely, great product !!!

We like Go but this is a No

    By on

I have been feeding the picky eater the Go dry food and he loves it. Both cats love Go canned food in Salmon. Lily and Buddy took a sniff of this turkey pate, then one bite and then walked away. I wish this came in smaller cans or I could just purchase one can of a new food for them to try. Expensive mistake. I'll donate the remaining 23 cans to a local charity.

Good, healthy food for a cat

    By on

Transitioning my cat from food with by products and carbs to healthier ingredients. This product was recommended because it is higher in protein minus animal by-products and unnecessary carbs. My cat likes it. Originally mixed it with old food for the transition. I also purchased this companies dry food as he eats both wet and dry food.

    Favorite soft cat food

    By on

My cats absolutely love this stuff. I could tell a huge difference in their coat after about 2 weeks on this stuff. I always rotate hard food (Hills science diet, anything chicken flavored) with soft food. This by far has been their favorite!

Good food but cats won't eat pate.

    By on

This is good food but unless I mix it with a can of cat food with gravy they won't eat it.

    Let's Talk Turkey

    By on

Like not all that glitters is gold, not all cat food that is so highly rated is guaranteed to be palatable. It's a no-go for my only turkey-eating cat. He finished all cans of the Go! salmon recipe as if the recipe was passably good, and it smelled good. It is more moist than the turkey though not "wet." Projecting through my cat's senses, the turkey definitely lacks something, and has no excess moisture & a rather bland smell.

    The search is over!

    By on

I have purchased Petcurean dry dog and cat foods and they are awesome. In my search to find the best canned cat food (before realizing that Petcurean made a canned version), I had purchased many other highly-rated brands of canned cat foods that smelled so awful that I would gag. When I realized that Petcurean made a canned version, I purchased this and it is fantastic! It smells like real food, looks fresh and my cat loves it!!

    Definitely a hit!

    By on

This food has quality ingredients. It smells fresh and is moist enough that it does not stick to the can when you dump it on the plate. My cats love it and it does not make them sick like some other foods do. I will continue to purchase this as it is a hit with 17 cats in rescue. Chewy is wonderful too! Could not ask for better service.

I buy the limited ingredient duck dry food and the turkey pate which my cat loves. This is a great product! My veterinarian said that her coat glistens! I agree.
