Wow... This cat tree kinda sucks. You would think that the little huts could stand on their own, but they are collapsible, with fabric sides. Which means there are SOOO many posts to screw in that setup takes forever. And yes, it's my fault for not realizing sooner, but this tree has nowhere for cats to scratch. There's no sisal wrapped around the posts and the carpet that is there is so cheap it would tear super easy. It's already shedding a bit and I think it's going to end up being a nightmare. Also the dangling rope doesn't even screw in. And by that I mean you literally cannot attach it to the tree like in the picture. I was wondering why this tree was a bit cheaper and now I know why
Our xat is 17 lbs and loves it! It's a little bit small for his length but he curls up and enjoys laying inside cubby, sitting perched on top to look out window, and frequently plays with attached toys. We are happy he is very satisfied with his new king tower. We plan on buying an extra identical tower and connecting the two with a bridge to give him a bigger play/rest area. Tower for a lovable royal cat.
I am SO glad these were bolts not just thin screws and the hex heads were great to work with. My recently adopted(11-15-22) fur baby was waiting patiently for me to give her the go-ahead!!! Safe to say, she loves it. It did sway with her when she jumped off (8# she weighs) Maybe I'll add something on the base to prevent that...
We bought this cat tree for our cat who loves to sit in windows all day looking outside. We live in a very wooded area and always have many critters running around. She immediately fell in love with it and spent most of the day observing the birds and squirrels outside!
I luv the 61" Tree Condo, it has 6 levels, and 2 condos with one of them very large. My cat Loves to climb, this is Purrfection . Thank You Chewy. !
My cat's been a little rough with this. He hovers around 10 lbs and likes to rush at it during his zoomies. It stays upright, but wobbles a little bit as he jumps on it (it's on linoleum, I don't know if that affects it) but the carpet sheds TERRIBLY. He has been utilizing it as a scratching post as well, and we're constantly cleaning up little flecks from it. Luckily he hasn't eaten them. But the carpet around the posts is coming off and shredding only after 5.5 months. Great for mild mannered cats (mine's a heathen) or those on a budget.
Cats love it. I have four cats and they fight over the top notch but like both of the boxes to.
Easy to put together, our cat loves it, biggest downfall is the fiber shedding but let's be real that's so minimal. It's very sturdy, hasn't been knocked over yet
I replaced my cat tree which I had for a couple years with this one. The fabric is very thin and shedded a lot. The fabric on the posts are glued poorly on the seams after 2 days one is coming apart. I will never purchase a product from this manufacturer again. This is the first time I have been disappointed in non cat litter item I purchased from Chewy
It was easy to build, and included instructions were understandable. It’s a great height, strong, and sturdy, but the “houses” are on the small side. I have noticed some shedding of the carpet/fabric but it’s minor. I can see reupholstering it, making it unique pretty easily. Making additional platforms, hammocks, and toys using this as a base. We did not secure it to the wall, even so it hasn’t tipped. We got it on sale- so I think it was a decent deal.
