The amount of food your dog needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Feed Adult dogs twice a day and puppies more often. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Regular exercise will help maintain a healthy body weight. Love, attention and tummy rubs should be given freely, as often as possible.
It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change.
- Day 1 & 2: Feed 80% of your pet’s old food with 20% of the new food
- Day 3 & 4: Feed 60% of your pet’s old food with 40% of the new food
- Day 5 & 6: Feed 40% of your pet’s old food with 60% of the new food
- Day 7, 8 & 9: Feed 20% of your pet’s old food with 80% of the new food
- Day 10 & Forever: Feed 100% new food
Are the ingredients used in this product “human-grade”?
All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.
Where is this product made?
Go! dry pet foods are produced in Ontario, Canada. We are 100% China free for processing and ingredient sourcing. None of our meat proteins, grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables in any of our recipes are processed in China, and none of our ingredients are sourced in China.
Is your food baked or extruded?
Our goal is to maintain the nutritional integrity of the ingredients we use in our recipes and so we extrude our foods at temperatures which are lower than typical baking. The end result; a nutrient-rich, highly digestible product for pets.
Sometimes the color and shape of the kibbles can vary. Why?
At Petcurean, we formulate our recipes using real food ingredients, and like real food that Mother Nature provides, the color and texture of the ingredients going into our recipes varies. For example; Meat supply will vary between different suppliers and batches (e.g. dark meat vs. white meat). Also, diets with a higher meat content are denser and sometimes more difficult to extrude (versus cereal or grains) which leads to variance in the kibble shape. Oils, as they are applied, either outside of or inside the kibble, can affect the color and the density (size) of the kibble. Oils also play a significant role in the palatability of the food. Finally, Petcurean does not use any artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, which also contributes to variances of the color and texture.
What is the shelf life of Go! dry cat food?
Our dry foods have a shelf life of 16 months.

Great kibble
By Robin on Feb 18, 2021
I feed this kibble with Primal raw. Works great for my 3 yrs old Rat terrier. No belly issues, of course he loves it. Since I feed so little I love that it comes in the small bag, 3.5lbs. Both of my Rats, 9 year old eats only Raw, are agility dogs so I am very picky about what they eat and the benefits they get from it. What goes in them nutritionally helps them physically .

My dog hates it.
By CMW1 on Mar 27, 2021
He is not generally picky but he won't even try it. He had a piece in his mouth and spit it out. I've tried to introduce it several times over a week and he won't go near it.

GO! Salmon
By LeAndBos on Apr 13, 2021
I love Go! Dog food as a brand. My dogs just weren't as enthusiastic about this particular flavor as they have been about others!

Great Product
By Chad on Jan 4, 2021
For about 5 years now our Am staff has been restricted to Hills Z/D which you need a medical prescription to buy. We go through a 25lb bag every 5 weeks at a cost of $105. After doing some research I found out about GO Sensitivity limited diet and was curious to give it a try. After a month on this food our lil girl is doing quite well and showing no allergic reactions. Also, this food is almost 1/2 the cost of the Hills product. 5 stars!

Great Stuff!
By Arby on Jan 16, 2021
This is my second bag of Go kibble. My girl loves it and I’m glad it’s a more healthy choice for her. She has allergies and it’s hard to find limited ingredients kibble. Thank you!

Cocker Spaniel with Itching and Digestive Issues
By Catbnyc on Nov 11, 2020
My new adult rescue had painful digestive problems and itching. After a neighbor recommended Go, I quickly ordered and we immediately saw a 100% improvement. Not sure what allergies she has, but changing to Go Salmon from another premium brand chicken based food did the trick.

My dogs coats look amazing!
By 1Bostonluvr on Oct 12, 2020
This dog food improved all 5 of my dogs overall conditions. I just wish they had a low fat, chicken free, senior option for them. They got too fat. I have to find something else.

Dogs love it
By Scout on Apr 29, 2020
About 6 months ago, my vet suggested I start feeding my 6 year old Australian Labradoodle a senior diet. He has always had minor digestive problems which I have managed with pumpkin or more strenuous methods when necessary. When the vet made his suggestions, a few bells went off in my head so I bought this stuff as an experiment. Booker loved it and so did his daughter, Panda. Their poo is the best it has been since puppyhood and they seem more comfortable in general.
