The amount of food your dog needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Use our feeding chart as a guide, adjusting the quantity fed to achieve your dog’s ideal weight. We suggest feeding twice a day, puppies more often. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Regular exercise will help maintain a healthy body weight. Love, attention and tummy rubs should be given freely, as often as possible. Pregnant/lactating females: increase intake by 50%.
It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change. On day one, introduce 10% new food / 90% old food. Keep the food at this ratio for 2 or more days. Next, increase the ratio to 20% new food / 80% old food for 2 or more days. Repeat increasing in increments of 10% until you’re feeding 100% of the new food. If your pet experiences any kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process to let his/her digestive tract adjust to the new food. Some vomiting and/or diarrhea can be normal when introducing new foods as the digestive process and the naturally occurring bacteria your pet’s body requires is a complex and delicate system. If you experience any vomiting and/or diarrhea, be sure to reduce the amount of new food the next time you feed and overall, slow the whole transition period down even more.

I followed the feeding guidelines on your packaging, but my pet is too fat/thin. Why?
Feeding Guidelines are simply a place to start. You should increase or decrease the amount you feed based on your pet’s activity level and weight.
Are the ingredients used in Petcurean products “human-grade”?
All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.
What is an organic ingredient?
A certified organic ingredient provides a guarantee that the ingredient has met strict government standards for how food is grown, handled and processed; using organic agricultural methods. Organic agriculture focuses on farming practices that encourage soil and water conservation and regeneration, and reduces pollution. Organic farmers use natural fertilizers and pest control methods to benefit the soil, plants and animals for a healthy environment.

By Kelli on Jul 20, 2020
My dog loves this food, and he doesn't get ear infections from this brand. We rotate between all the different flavors and so far he likes this one too. Chewy is fast for delivery and prices are better than the pet stores in my town.

Finally a food my Yorkie could tolerate
By CodyMom on Mar 8, 2020
My Yorkie suffers from a sensitive tummy, when I put this food down. He was chewing like I’ve been depriving him of food. He love love love it. He’s a 3lbs Yorkie so the pieces are a little on the big side. Not to big but being that he chew so fast. I decided to take a pill splitter and split the pieces. That works for the both of us. I wish you would make this in smaller bites. My Cody love this food. His poops are solid. I will continue to buy this food. This food is a Go! for us.

2 out of 3 dogs liked it
By review on Mar 28, 2020
I bought for one dog that has severe allergies and she would not eat it. My other 2 dogs loved it, I could not keep them out of it. So it depends on your dogs preference. So a no go for my allergy dog.

High Quality Dry Food - Fantastic Option for Allergy Dogs!
By ItsMe on Dec 31, 2019
We have 2 large breed dogs on Go! LID dry food for ~4 years now with ZERO complaint. Finding a quality dog food to work with both mixed breed dogs can be a challenge – especially with one with allergies to Chicken, Lamb and White Potato! Both our girls love Go!, have healthy consistent stool and good energy. I have also NOT switched brands even after the DCM scare for 2 main reasons 1 - As stated we have an allergy girl - LOL. It is hard to find a dog food without Chicken Meal, Chicken Fat or Potato Protein hidden further down the list! Even harder to find multiple flavors in the same brand. So we love that Go! has different protein options that do not include Chicken, Lamb or White We have 2 large breed dogs on Go! LID dry food for ~4 years now with ZERO complaint. So, I do not mind paying more for what she needs. 2 - I have always fed 75% dry kibble and 25% wet, mostly meat topper/mix in’s - so DCM has not ‘worried’ me as much as we just needed a great dry dog food as a base. Another plus - recently, I noticed Go! added Taurine to these LID dry foods. … more

Good dry food for my dog with IBD
By Ramey on Feb 9, 2020
My vet recommended a turkey-based grain-free diet for my Bichon Frise with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and I switched her from Go Sensitivity & Shine LID duck to this Go formula. She's doing great, and my other two dogs love the food as well.
