Transition Instructions

The transition period should be at minimum, ten days and could take upwards of two weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change. On day one, introduce 10% new food and 90% old food. Keep the food at this ratio for two or more days. Next, increase the ratio to 20% new food and 80% old food for two or more days. Repeat increasing in increments of 10% until you’re feeding 100% of the new food. If your pet experiences any kind of digestive upset during this time, try slowing down the process to let his or her digestive tract adjust to the new food. Some vomiting and/or diarrhea can be normal when introducing new foods as the digestive process and the naturally occurring bacteria your pet’s body requires is a complex and delicate system. If you experience any vomiting and/or diarrhea, be sure to reduce the amount of new food the next time you feed and overall, slow the whole transition period down even more.

    Good flavor

    By on

My cat loves the flavor but this food trial requires no chicken. This has chicken fat. I did not see that until 1 week in and her breathing worsened. The ingredients look great! They just didnt work for us but she did LOVE the taste of the food.

I have one chonko and one normo cat. The chonk will eat anything and everything with little issue, but the other one will have funky poops if not fed good food. This brand was perfect for the two and normal poos for everyone!

    Big change

    By on

I had been feeding a prescription diet to my cat for years. He was gobbling and puking pretty regularly. I changed his dish to a timed feeder so he couldn't gobble and he still puked. I switched to this... he didn't love it. But he eats it and his puking has drastically decreased to mostly just furballs now.

    Cat won't eat it

    By on

The bag is nice though my cat won't eat this. All the bags should be made with this kind of closure. It might actually last at least half way through the use of the bag. You just press it together to get it to close instead of the zip lock style. The ingredients seem healthy too.

    Amazing food!

    By on

My cats are picky and loooove it! One of my cats who has chronic stomach issues is already benefiting from it after two days. His stool is finally firming up after trying so many things. I'm so happy I found this!

3 out of 4 cats really like it

    By on

We switched all 4 of our cats to this due to one having serious food sensitivity. The one with food sensitivity was on Purina hydrolyzed diet veterinarian prescribed dry food. The other three ate Iams indoor weight and hairball. Those 3 love this a lot and seem to be digesting it ok. The one with food sensitivity isn't eating it as well. This is the only dry we found that doesn't have ingredients she is allergic to, so hopefully she gets used to it and it helps. We bought the new formula only.

    My fussy Siamese loves this

    By on

I had been using Royal Canin Savor and Aroma, which she would pick at. But this stuff she loves. I think we are converts.

Sensitive Kitty Willing to Eat This!

    By on

My 8 year old cat is highly sensitive to ingredients in her food AND very picky about what food to eat. We have gone round and round with the vet trying elimination diets and different ingredients. This food ticks all the boxes, good protein level AND my cat will actually eat it. It's been about a month and I think we've finally found a winner.
