The amount of food your dog needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Feed Adult dogs twice a day and puppies more often. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Regular exercise will help maintain a healthy body weight. Love, attention and tummy rubs should be given freely, as often as possible.

Transition Instructions

It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change.

  • Day 1 & 2: Feed 80% of your pet’s old food with 20% of the new food
  • Day 3 & 4: Feed 60% of your pet’s old food with 40% of the new food
  • Day 5 & 6: Feed 40% of your pet’s old food with 60% of the new food
  • Day 7, 8 & 9: Feed 20% of your pet’s old food with 80% of the new food
  • Day 10 & Forever: Feed 100% new food
FAQ

Are the ingredients used in this product “human-grade”?

All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.

Where is this product made?

Go! dry pet foods are produced in Ontario, Canada. We are 100% China free for processing and ingredient sourcing. None of our meat proteins, grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables in any of our recipes are processed in China, and none of our ingredients are sourced in China.

Is your food baked or extruded?

Our goal is to maintain the nutritional integrity of the ingredients we use in our recipes and so we extrude our foods at temperatures which are lower than typical baking. The end result; a nutrient-rich, highly digestible product for pets.

Sometimes the color and shape of the kibbles can vary. Why?

At Petcurean, we formulate our recipes using real food ingredients, and like real food that Mother Nature provides, the color and texture of the ingredients going into our recipes varies. For example; Meat supply will vary between different suppliers and batches (e.g. dark meat vs. white meat). Also, diets with a higher meat content are denser and sometimes more difficult to extrude (versus cereal or grains) which leads to variance in the kibble shape. Oils, as they are applied, either outside of or inside the kibble, can affect the color and the density (size) of the kibble. Oils also play a significant role in the palatability of the food. Finally, Petcurean does not use any artificial colors, flavors or preservatives, which also contributes to variances of the color and texture.

What is the shelf life of Go! dry cat food?

Our dry foods have a shelf life of 16 months.

    Shrinkinflation

    By on

A decent food choice. Not crazy about the use of canola oil. However, the recent move from 25lbs. To 22lbs is ridiculous. Consequently, I need to move on. Zignature is a 27 pound bag. I was willing to do the 25#, but not the 22#. Goodbye...

    Winner All The Way Around

    By on

My Shitzu has a very sensitive stomach and finding a food that won't upset his stomach that he likes has proven to be very difficult until I tried this food. He loves it and it doesn't upset his stomach. My Pom doesn't have stomach issues, but she loves it too. It is a Win Win for this pet mom.

    My Dog Stopped Scratching

    By on

I believe my dog has a sensitivity to chicken and turkey, and as a result, scratches non stop , and his eye lids swell. Once he started this limited ingredient food the scratching stopped! I removed one star for the high carb content! Also, my Maine Coon cat has similar allergies and IBS issues & eats the feline version, with the same excellent results! This food is a lifesaver!

My Dog loves this Dog Food

    By on

We have a 8 YO boxer mix with stomach issues, we switched 2 years ago while living in Canada to Go Duck. I can’t tell you the difference it’s made, she’s healthy and loves the Duck. At $67.00 a bag people think that’s high but it works out to about $3.00 a day. I’d pay twice that to keep my dog healthy.

    Awesome food

    By on

I have a Pit who has a list of environmental & food allergies a mile long. This is the 1st food I've found that has nothing in it he's allergic to. Since being on this food, he hasn't had skin or ear infections. He takes an allergy medication, as well, but I know the main source for his great health has come from the great nutrition this food provides!

    My dog loves this food.

    By on

I have a German Shepherd puppy that was not keeping up with her siblings as far as growth/weight. I was feeding her some darn good foods, but she would pick ....leaving the majority behind. Then this food was recommended to me. Now she is excited about eating and has caught up with her siblings. She loves his food and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a food for a picky eater.

Great limited ingredient diet dog food

    By on

My pup Captain America had a food allergy causing his anal glands to act up and his ears to itch. I tried a few limited ingredient dog foods but none of them worked. Go! Duck Recipe has been fantastic. He no longer has anal gland problems or wants to itch his ears. Highly recommend.
