    Good food!

By Tiki on Oct 20, 2019

So far this has been a good buy. The food is great quality and the company has been great to work with when I have called with questions. My only gripe is...I wish it had a tiny bit more fiber. Smell awful, cats won't touch it

By Loveallmypets on Oct 22, 2019

Upon opening the box with the food in it, I noticed it had an awful smell. My thought was, "I hope that isn't the cat food." It was. When I opened the bag, it turned my stomach. Not just for cats

    By on

I bought this to add to the kibble mix for our ferrets. They imprint on their food so you have to be tricky and take your time adding it in very slowly. When mixing the food they were helping and very curious about the new bag. I put a few pieces out and they started eatting it right away!

    Health food for your pets!

    By on

I recently discovered Petcurean Go for dogs and cats while working at a friends pet boutique. I had been feeding my cats, Hill's Science Diet for about 20 years as per my veterinarian's recommendation. However, as with my own health, I'm trying to help my cats live a healthier and longer life. When I compared the ingredients of the Petcurean Go for cats, specifically the turkey duck recipe, with the Hill's Science Diet, it was amazing to me how many fillers were in Hill's Science Diet instead of meat and protein. However, since it does still contain some vegetables for vitamin supplementation ( according to the rep that I spoke to at Petcurean), I am only giving it 4 stars. There are some other foods out there, that contain as much protein, and less fillers, but I could not afford those. So the Petcurean food, is a good balance between nutrition and my budget. By the way, I have three cats, two that are over 10 and one that is 3 years old. As soon as I introduced them to the Petcurean, they gobbled it up, with no digestive issues or refusals to eat. They love it! They've only been on it now about 6 months, but I am hoping that this will improve their nutrition, and longevity. With Hill's Science Diet, I lost many cats over the years, always to kidney disease, I have to believe that it was their food. Do some research, as I did, and you will see that there are a great many pet foods out there, but not all are created equal. … more

    Little itty bitty bits

    By on

I switched my cats over to this food after reading on a blog that it was well rated for quality ingredients and balanced nutrition. They didn't seem to have any issues with the food switch and are eating this food. I guess by cat standards, that means the food is good. The only issue I have is that the kibbles are really tiny - tinier than I have seen in cat food. They get everywhere and make a mess.

    Loves it, but too small!

    By on

I intoduced this dry food replacement food to Loulou after the previous dry food helped him lose the appropriate amount of weight. I chose GO! because of what I've learned about appropriate cat food ingredients. Loulou was transitioned successfully and continues to enjoy it. Like other reviews, the kibble pieces are way too small. Loulou swallows each piece without having the substantially textured chance to actually chew them. It concerns me, but I'll continue with it.

Well I was hoping my cat would like it. She is eating it ok.

    By on

My cat decided she didn’t want raw anymore so for the last year have been trying to find a dry food she would like and make her not have diarrhea. Well this food is the best so far that I tried. On the second bag and now she is not eating very much of it. So going to try a different flavor.

    Good but tiny pellets

    By on

Pellets are the size of round BBs, but that didn't stop either of my cats from eating this. High-quality ingredients, but does have Peas, Potatoes, Potato Flour, and Tapioca (wish it didn't). Almost as high a protein count (46%) as EVO, which has been discontinued and was THE favorite of both of my cats. Good stuff for a dry catfood.

Overall great product, but tiny kibble pieces

    By on

Overall, I love the level of protein in this product, but I do wish the kibble pieces weren't so tiny. I'm thankful it hasn't put my kitties off of eating it, even if it isn't their main food source.

Cats like it! But kibble is oddly tiny.

Decided to try this highly recommended brand as an alternative to another top rated brand whose US formula was no longer appealing to my cats (Interesting how they can tell the difference!) and yet another solid brand that unfortunately ceased production. My cats are fed a variety of dry and canned foods. Dry is provided as a proprietary mix of four brands. They like the flavor of Go! Fit Grain Free Chicken, Turkey & Duck very much, yet, like other customer comments, the kibble is curiously tiny and the cats do have trouble chewing it. Can't seem to locate the company's rationale for this. Wish they would consider increasing the kibble size a bit. Excellent ingredients

We are transitioning our 5 adult cats age 1-6 from Acana. A couple of them began vomiting occasionally after eating it. They had been eating it now for about 3 years. So this came up on many best of lists. After much research we gave it a try. Plenty of protein here with quality meats and nutrients. It is a Canadian brand which every time I research a Canadian brand comes up better quality. The price per pound is the same as the Acana I was purchasing. The kibble is small round pieces. I prefer the bigger kibble but it does not seem to be an issue. We have started mixing this in with their old food and they are eating it well. I would recommend this heartily.
