The amount of food your dog needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Use our feeding chart as a guide, adjusting the quantity fed to achieve your dog’s ideal weight.

We suggest feeding twice a day, puppies more often. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Regular exercise will help maintain a healthy body weight. Love, attention and tummy rubs should be given freely, as often as possible.

Pregnant/lactating females: increase intake by 50%.

Transition Instructions

It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change.

  • Day 1 & 2: Feed 80% of your pet’s old food with 20% of the new food
  • Day 3 & 4: Feed 60% of your pet’s old food with 40% of the new food
  • Day 5 & 6: Feed 40% of your pet’s old food with 60% of the new food
  • Day 7, 8 & 9: Feed 20% of your pet’s old food with 80% of the new food
  • Day 10 & Forever: Feed 100% new food

    Smells awful

By Skye on May 16, 2020

I bought this food for my English Shepherd to perk up his skin and coat. He ate the first bowl and then after that he turned his nose up in revolt. If this food went into his bowl he just refused to eat. I bought new food and mixed a little in and he wouldn't eat the new food with this mixed in. I gave up. I have the better part of a 25 lb. bag unused. If you are going to try I suggest buying the smallest bag to make sure that your dog will eat.

    So far so good!

By Wilson on Sep 10, 2019

I have a 6 year old 12lb Havanese boy and he loves this food! This was our first time trying out this dry food bc I found this brand from a list of non-cancerous ingredient list from an article that i found a while ago. We're almost done with our first 25-lb bag. The reason why we changed to this food was bc my dog would throw up occasionally so I felt like the food wasn't a perfect match for him. Ever since switching, barfing has stopped! It must be easier for him to digest. I'll be continuing to purchase this food for my little boy.

    Dog Hates it

By aharlesschuck on Oct 23, 2019

My dog usually eats just about anything. This, she took one sniff and whined at me and wouldn’t go near it. I separated it into a different bowl, and she wouldn’t go near it.

dog is finicky and she is eating GO

By Bela on Oct 14, 2019

Bela really likes it. She’s pretty finicky. I like the resealable bag. It was a good choice. And the reviews that I read on it made it look good and it was true to its reviews.
