The amount of food your dog needs will vary depending on breed, activity level, age and climate. Use our feeding chart as a guide, adjusting the quantity fed to achieve your dog’s ideal weight.
We suggest feeding twice a day, puppies more often. Provide fresh, clean water at all times. Regular exercise will help maintain a healthy body weight. Love, attention and tummy rubs should be given freely, as often as possible.
Pregnant/lactating females: increase intake by 50%.
It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, 10 days and could take upwards of 2 weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change.
- Day 1 & 2: Feed 80% of your pet’s old food with 20% of the new food
- Day 3 & 4: Feed 60% of your pet’s old food with 40% of the new food
- Day 5 & 6: Feed 40% of your pet’s old food with 60% of the new food
- Day 7, 8 & 9: Feed 20% of your pet’s old food with 80% of the new food
- Day 10 & Forever: Feed 100% new food

I followed the feeding guidelines on your packaging, but my pet is too fat/thin. Why?
Feeding Guidelines are simply a place to start. You should increase or decrease the amount you feed based on your pet’s activity level and weight.
Are the ingredients used in Petcurean products “human-grade”?
All of our fresh meat and meat meal ingredients are sourced from animals passed fit for human consumption by the CFIA. The fruits and vegetables used in our recipes also come from the human food chain. We do not, however, claim that our ingredients are “human-grade”; once an individual ingredient leaves a “human-grade” processing facility and enters a “pet food” processor, the ingredient loses its “human-grade” classification.
What is an organic ingredient?
A certified organic ingredient provides a guarantee that the ingredient has met strict government standards for how food is grown, handled and processed; using organic agricultural methods. Organic agriculture focuses on farming practices that encourage soil and water conservation and regeneration, and reduces pollution. Organic farmers use natural fertilizers and pest control methods to benefit the soil, plants and animals for a healthy environment.
Where are your products made?
Petcurean dry pet foods are produced in Ontario, Canada. Our canned products are primarily produced in Ontario, Canada and secondarily at a plant in New Jersey, USA. Our SPIKE Jerky Treats are manufactured in Gainsville, Georgia and our SPIKE Treat Bars are made in Brampton, Ontario. All of the meat proteins, grains, cereals, fruits and vegetables in our GO! SOLUTIONS™, NOW FRESH™ and GATHER™ products are sourced from North America (as close to the production facility as possible).

Seems to Helps Maggie Mayhem’s Digestion
By SMCG on Jan 15, 2021
Chewy sent this product to me in error. Instead of donating it, I made a cash donation to Big Dog Ranch and fed Maggie Mayhem the food. Her coat was beautiful but her stool seemed to be more healthy. When we we back to her normal (cheaper) food, it changed back. She is now eating Go forever!!

bear gsd loves it
By gosolutions1 on Oct 27, 2020
My German Shepard Puppy has a super sensitive stomach, poultry allergies and dry food becomes boring quickly. He gets a mix of the go salmon and go lamb dry food and absolutely loves it! His coat has become soft and shiny and his self-inflicted bald spots have been filled with new healthy fur. His itching has dramatically decreased and his poops are normal again, he finishes his food without special toppings. Finally being a new puppy mom, I feel comfortable spending my money on a food where not only can I pronounce the ingredients, I actually understand the definition of each ingredient without having to do a crazy amount of research. Great choice for sensitive tummies with chicken allergies
By RidgieLuver17 on Sep 25, 2020
This kibble seems to work great for my ridgeback with food allergies that include chicken, egg, and potato. This kibble has none of those ingredients which means no suffering with yeasty paws he wants to chew on 24/7. Bonus that this kibble is great with his sensitive stomach and gives him great firm stools. His coat is super soft which I won't complain about. He doesn't love the flavor but because the food works so well for him I just add some toppers.

My Dog was allergic
By Meggie on Jun 25, 2020
Turns out my dog is highly allergic to this food. It maybe the salmon, but I’m not sure yet what she had a reaction to. The pieces are a little smaller which I like for my 30 pound dog. It smells good too (in dog food terms), and she seemed to really like it! She ate it right up. I think this is probably a really good food, just not for my girl!

He likes it!
By PSPGlen on May 17, 2020
We tried this because our Labradoodle seemed to be having allergies, (scratching and licking paws), so we switched from another premium food to see if that might be the problem. We also added a supplement. Anyway, he really seems to like the food, (we open feed, but he does finish the bowl sooner than he did with our old choice). There has been a marked improvement in his allergies, (although, honestly, we don't know if that's from the food, supplement or change of season), and his coat looks/feels great. We also like the fact that it has quality grains, as we have been skeptical of "grain free" formulas. On a side note, we love the little Velcro closure on the bag! Great for fur regrowth
By bsan on Mar 12, 2020
I recently adopted a 17lb French bulldog / terrier mix. She was a backyard breeding nightmare and surrendered covered in Dem. Mange. Although she had been recouping in foster care for a few months prior to me adopting her, she’s still missing some fur. I have noticed a tremendous difference since switching her to this food. She’s not scratching and there’s new growth on her coat. In full disclosure, I’ve also been giving her rice water treatments, but I’m confident the food is really helping her. All my friends can see a huge difference in just a month and a half of having her and feeding her this food. I highly recommend.

Dog seems to like it
By Roxy on Mar 21, 2020
New food for our pit, she has many skin issues and loves the food so far. We hope it works!! Had her on Royal Canine veterinary skin formula, very expensive. This is more reasonably prices and very close in ingredients. Have to give Chewy major Kuddos for how they are handling shipments and customer service at this time. Everyone please stay safe!!
