DOG PARENTS BEWARE, THE ARMS OF THIS TOY CONTAIN RIGID THICK PLASTIC TUBES WITH A KINK IN THE MIDDLE WHICH POSE AS AN OBSTRUCTION RISK IF YOUR DOG GETS INTO THE TOY UNATTENDED. Take my personal experience to heart, and DO NOT PURCHASE THIS TOY FOR YOUR DOG. PERIOD. My dog is currently in the emergency room trying to address the fact that the plastic arm is stuck inside of his digestive system. This toy was gifted to us, so I never saw any packaging or warning labels in regards to the internal parts. I made the dumb assumption thinking a Dog Toy manufacturer would take the time to design safe dog toys. Unfortunately I was very wrong in that assumption and it's directly affecting my dog's health and wellness.
I didn't get this toy at Chewy but at another retailer on an impulse. The idea of the toy is great, and functions well until a pooch gets her teeth on it. Mine got her bunny today, and after a cumulative 20 minutes of play it wasn't squeaking anymore. Turns out the stems at the base of the ears very easily pull out of the squeaker's air chamber, rendering the whole toy quiet and still unless you're able to shove those stems back into the air chamber. I was luckily able to figure it out and get it all reconnected so that the toy would work again, but it seems like a toy this expensive should be made better than this. As of writing this I've fixed this toy three times because it so easily comes apart inside. I wouldn't put as much effort into it if my girl didn't love it so much, so we'll be keeping it, but I'll be mindful that this toy needs some maintenance between play sessions.
My Shepherd puppy fell in love with this toy. He soon learned if he held it just right he could watch the ears move. Spent hours laughing at the antics. He had hours of fun with this toy. Being a Shepherd he got bored and the bunny ended up losing an ear and has since been buried. Great toy though. Worth the money for the joy it gave both of us.
It's a cute toy but not durable. My little 12 lb puppy was running playing with this and she didn't even bite into it. Now it doesn't squeak or move. I can't imagine what a bigger dog will do to it. She still likes running with it.
This toy looked fun because the ears were supposed to move when the middle section was bit. They moved at first try but then that was it. I hate to leave a bad review because this is my favorite brand of dog toys. But this one did not live up to what it was marketed as.
The ears pop up when the head is squeezed. It's very cute but the ears are a weak point. My two pups had chewed holes in the ears in the first week. The ears did not appear to be as well reinforced as the head.
My small dog love to snuggle with this toy. He also loves the ears that move up and down and the noise it makes.
This toy lasted about 10 minutes with my 7 month old micromini Aussiedoodle, sad because it was really cute
Pup loves this, watch yours if they love to chew as it could break if punctured. He loves it and has the frog legs too. Tons of fun and loud, annoying squeak- just like he likes it.
This didn't last 30 minutes with my dog and the ears will not work anymore wouldn't recommend!
