Oh my gosh, I feel like a terrible dog mom. This is the 2nd toy that arrived in my order that is way too small for my dogs to play with. I apparently didn't see the word "mini" at the end of this toy name b/c I had no idea I was spending $10 on the world's smallest dog toy. My dogs could eat this it's so tiny. Even if I had a small dog this is quite overpriced compared to other toys. Usually the size of a toy is listed in the listing; small, medium, large, jumbo, etc. I was expecting a normal rope animal that I've bought them tons of times before. Cute toy and my dogs are begging for me to give it to them, but it's entirely too small for them. Will have to find a smaller dog to gift this to. :-(
This is my dogs favorite toy. I bought it one year ago. It lasted a long time with my playful, high energy chewer. He ripped it apart like a few months in though and still loved to play with the shreds. Here it is now. All that’s left. The little round thing is *was* the ankle and it’s his favorite thing LOL
Hi my mom bought me a new rooster better know as chicken in my house. After 2 years I kind of started to tear it apart so we buried the old one and got this new one. I love him so much and and mom and I play fetch several times a day. I even take a nap with him and my pink alligator.
Within 6 hours of giving this to my 25 lb. chihuahua mix, the two bottom legs were detached. This is not a tough chewer toy despite the description. I want my money back.
our senior ShizTzu still likes to play "sometimes". This toy works for him as he has a small mouth and few teeth but because of the design and fabric, he can get a good grip. So every once in awhile he grabs it, brings it over and we have about 5 minutes of tugging, chasing and retrieving.
My dog likes this toy just ok, not her favorite. It's really small I thought it would be larger
Within 3 minutes of giving this toy to my puppy, both legs were severed! This is marketed as a tough toy so I was very disappointed. Such a waste of money!
We are on our fourth cow (he has one cow and one chicken at home). Bought the first one when we were asked to babysit my nephew’s corgi, bought the next one to send home with him. Corgi LOOOOVES these! He ripped the mini apart, but the larger ones have held up nicely. Seriously, he’ll go play with these by himself, although he much prefers us to play tug-of-war. He’s honestly happier to see these than he is to see us
I accidentally ordered this in a mini so my mastiff isn’t sure what he’s supposed to do with it. He’s just been chewing on it’s head. He has no teeth so I can’t tell you how well this would hold up to a dog that’s a big chewer. Nino loves it for what it is though and has been carrying it around trying to figure out why it’s so much smaller than his other toys.
Ordered like $50 worth of toys for my 22 lbs terrier mix, who is 4 years old ... and often under-stimulated, mentally. He's a lucky dog, yes. He especially loved this chicken, of the 7 toys I bought on sale. He had an unusual zoomie with it pretty late at night, bringing it to me and asking not to go to sleep yet. I am so thrilled, because his prior "favorite toy" was a slingshot duck that he was able to destroy in two days. This one seems tougher with fewer disconnected moving parts.
