    Flatter than flat

    By on

This toy lasted 1 hour before half the face was gone down to the chew guard lining. From there it lasted 5 days before all the stuffing was removed. It didn't even last 1 week from start to finish. She had fun with it while it lasted. It did last a couple days longer than a normal stuffed animal would. But overall, I'm not impressed.

    Great squeaker

    By on

My dog loves this toy, especially because it has a great squeaker. I bought her the GoDog possum before this squirrel. She loved it and it was long lasting (although my girl is gentle with her toys - would not recommend for an aggressive chewer). The one negative is it is not machine washable.

    Great and tough!

We love this brand of toys!! It takes a very long time for her to chew any holes in them. She is obsessed with getting squirrels and will not let anyone touch this one (unless it’s tug of war)

    was pup's fave--while it lasted

    By on

this little beaver (def not a squirrel!) had our pup's interest before I could get the Chewy box open all the way. He stuck his snout in the box and grabbed it right out! For the short time it lasted, it was his favorite toy and the thing went everywhere he did. Unfortunately, our pup is a chewer/toy destroyer and shortly after arrival, the Beav was channeling Van Gough and going ear-less. The hole left by the missing ears was too tempting for Pup, who clearly thought the Beav needed a lobotomy. After trying to save the Beav multiple times, we finally had to put him to rest for Pup's safety. I would've been fine with a Beav carcass being carried around the house, but the material came apart in these terrible long shredded bits. No way to salvage it. It took--maybe--2 whole weeks. This toy brought a lot of joy to pup (he's *still* looking around the house for it) but I'm frustrated that something marketed for tough chewers hardly lasted. YMMV, but I can't recommend. … more

Missing his face and I believe he is flatter now than when he arrived. Chew guard has met its match.

    Favorite Toy!

    By on

Our lab is a mega chewer, we've had a squirrel since she was 8 weeks and we brought her home. We have at least 2 at all times! She's never ripped one apart, they just got ruined from puppy accidents. HIGHLY recommend this!

Lasted longer than any other toy EVER!

    By on

Our Penny is a destroyer. She has a very strong prey drive. I have never given her a stuffed toy that lasted more than 5 minutes before being ripped apart and stuffing everywhere. Once she gets the squeeker out, she's not interested in it anymore. This beaver lasted her two weeks! She's finally managed to get the squeeker out, but still chewed on it until much of the stuffing was out. Now she's stealing the other two dog's toys and I'm constantly telling her, "Drop it! It's not yours!" My only complaint is that it's made in China.
