Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
Machine wash toy when soiled. Air dry.
I was really excited about this toy because my puppy Frenchie loves plush toys and anything really furry. I did suspect she would bite the fur & try to tear it out but I had no idea it would come out so easily. Before I gave her the toy, I brushed it to remove any loose fibers. It came out so easily, and I was only using the comb I use on my own hair. I thought maybe if I washed and dried it, we’d remove even more loose fiber - surely then it would be safe, right? Even after combing, washing, and drying, my puppy is constantly removing and ingesting the fibers from this toy. Easily & without effort. She’ll have it for less than 2 minutes & I have to take it away. I can see how it could be okay for larger dogs to play with, because the amount of fur they ingest compared to their systems is small. But I just don’t believe this is safe for my small puppy & I’m frustrated that it comes apart so easily. Definitely wish I hadn’t wasted my money.
I accidentally bought the large size for my 3 month old pointer. He could barely get his mouth around it to hold it, but loved to chase it. Fast forward, now he’s 5 months old. The ball is his favorite toy and it’s still in tact. He plays fetch with it, he chews on it, and he carries it around like a security blanket. Either the ball is tough or the larger size is hard for his smaller mouth to chew up. He’s chewed up every soft toy right away so this was a win for me!
After only about a minute, my girl tore a hole in the Furrballz' head. We have purchased these before and they last a LONG time. I'm not sure what happened with this one. I tried to post the pic but it kept force closing the app.
I thought this toy was sooo cute when I saw it online. When I got it I could not have been more disappointed. It looked nothing like the pictures online. It looked like it had been washed over 50 times! The fur was not fluffy at all it was all - it was all matted down and looked gross! Total disappointment!
Recommended by Chewy staff so I tried it out. Cut off all the tags but 11 month dobie ripped open a seam in less than 10 minutes. Will try to hand sew it but that usually doesn't last with my dog. Was cute while it lasted.
Love this toy bigger tougher cuter even more loved than expected. I 6month old pit puppy with my big girl teeth, and I love my rainbow goofball
By Far the best toy I’ve ever bought! The fir doesn’t come out and our power Pitties have not yet to tear these apart! We have bout four only bc they have Ben left somehwere and we bout for a few rescues to take to their furever homes with them! The “flat” ducks are just as durable!!
My dog is obsessed, and I am torn with my review. 5 star for the fact my dog is nutty for it. 1 star for durability. Godog claims they have a bite guard layer. Of course, if you have a dog that is rough it won't last long.
My 120lb pup got this Furballz for his 2nd birthday. It has been a fantastic, durable joy-toy for him. He is a moderate chewer. He killed the squeaker fairly early on, but the fuzz and fabric are amazing. If you have a super-chewer, then nothing will stop them. (Buy another one.) But, even if your pup occasionally goes for the toy jugular, this is an enduring winner! Six months later, this is still going strong, even as a pillow.
Favorite toy. He uses it as a pacifier while going to sleep. Very durable. The previous one lasted over a year.
