GoTags Nylon Personalized Reflective Breakaway Cat Collar with Bell

After my cat wore this for a couple months, I noticed a bunch of blood around her neck one day. The metal loop that holds the bell to the collar had a sharp edge that cut her neck. My cat is ok, but it's taken months for the cut to heal. If you decide to get this for your cat or already own it, I recommend removing the metal bell loop.

So this is a nice looking collar and the personalization is a great feature, BUT the break away feature is not so great. I’ve had other breakaway collars that did not come off as easily, but I keep finding this one laying around the house. If they improve the clasp? I would give this collar a 5 star!

I ordered 2 personalized orange collars for my 2 cats. After 2 days of wearing one of the collars was staining the cat's white fur with pink color. It's been raining so maybe she got the collar wet but the other one had no problem.

good: Adjustable, doesn't slip Nice printing Reflects really well Easy to put on Bad: My cat undid the easy release the first 5 minutes it was on. Doesn't have another way to get it off other than to pull. I feel i will make it to easy to fall off just trying to adjust it. Only place to hang a tag is a small metal clip that looks like a paper clip that will break soon. I think it is to hold it down where it is adjusted, if not then it is meant for the tag but not strong enough. It doesn't hold down the two pieces of collar that are overlapped to adjust it and it slides all over. There is not another piece to hold the adjusted collar down.

Printing quality and collar itself are nice, but the clasp isn't secure enough to count on (unless it's caught on something). I don't like leaving non-positive reviews, but I think it's important that a pet collar stay on, at least most of the time. Maybe this company will improve the clasp once they know about the problem!

My kitten Bandit is an escape artist so really wanted to have this on him incase he gets outside. But unfortunately it does not stay clipped it comes unclipped very easy so not worth it.

I ordered a 1/2" Go Tags collar . . .but received a 3/8" collar. Since this was for a small dog, not cat, I specifically wanted the 1/2". Since it is personalized, I can't return. Not happy with Go Tags.

Bought 6 of these for my barn cats. 4 have already been lost and I've watched them pop off from them just scratching their neck with their paw. Super disappointed since I have to put more money into different collars.

I have just purchased a 2nd collar to get a different color. The 1st collar still looks new. My 3 year old cat wore the 1st collar continuously for 14 months. The 1st collar only broke away once when she was playing with other cats on the steps going to upstairs. Great purchase!!!

The collar is perfect. I like that the name and phone number are directly on the collar - no tag hanging in our kitty's way or getting worn off and the name/phone info are on a reflective strip. Good quality, well made. And, as always, Chewy's service is outstanding.
