GoTags Personalized Leather Dog Collar

This collar is very nice looking. HOWEVER, we purchased it specifically to use as a D-ring collar to attach to a tie out for our 37 pound American Staffy Lab mix. While playing fetch she simply snapped the collar when she reached the end of the 30 foot tie out. We were shocked! We use another leather collar and that has never happened. It really is a great looking collar but DO NOT use it with a tie out if you have a power house dog. Harley might be just 37 pounds but she is all muscle and power and that collar won’t hold up on a tie out for those types of dogs. But may I say, Chewy has EXCELLENT customer service and issued a full refund and we just got a new heavy duty leather collar today! This collar is very nice looking. This is the perfect 'forever collar' because it is a good strong leather, soft enough to be comfortable, and best of all it has no tags to lose. We need our girl's name on the collar in case she ever gets lost, and this is the best solution. Be wary however of the sizing - get the size that is within your dog's real measurement, don't go 2 inches bigger as they told me to on the help chat. I had to return the first one because her neck is 18 inches and they counseled me to get the large but really I should have gotten the medium. Thank you Chewy for graciously taking it back and making it right. The personalization is well done and classy.

I was very pleased with the quality of these collars. I ordered two for our dogs. Good quality leather and the text is machine embroidered through the leather so it will always be clearly readable. Anticipating that these will last for years.

Love these collars. I hated listening to the tags clank against each other (their id and rabies tag). Their identity is clearly visible from a distance in case someone has to call us. I thought I measured correctly, yet both collars were too long. However, being that they were leather, I simply cut the extra length off and drilled one new hole.

My dog's collars was really worn and I was looking for something that was stylish and durable. I love this collar!!! It matches his skin tone and the personalization makes it even more eye catching. All my neighbors wanting to know where I purchased it from.
