Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Our dog destroyed this ball in less than an hour. She's a tough chewer but these goughnuts toys are made for tough chewers so - not a good product in my humble opinion.
Our golden loves this ball! She is a very heavy chewer and destroys most toys that come her way but the goughnuts brand has been our best find.
I have 3 of these. My dog loves them and I love them because they are super durable.
I run a dog boarding and day care business, so we get dogs of all kinds. Many of them are extremely tough chewers who can destroy "tough" and "indestructible" toys in seconds. Not the GoughNuts toys! We have several different shapes and most recently tried these balls. They are perfect for outdoor play and extremely easy to clean. The only potential thing I would change is the texture. Most of the surface of these balls is smooth and several of my dogs need a more textured surface to keep them interested. Other than that, these are fantastic.
Both of my dogs are heavy chewers. Purebred german shepherd 8 years old and a pit shepherd mix thats a bit over 3. The balls did ok, and by that i mean they lasted about 4 days, as an outside toy only... they're mainly indoor dogs. Which means they got about an hour or two a day to play with the balls. About the only thing that gives them a real challenge are those hard nylabone bones... but they enjoy ball shaped toys more, so we got these. I still bought 10 more but will use em more sparingly. They can last a decent amount of time as long as you don't let your dog lie down and chew nonstop. Use these balls for fetch only not something for them to chew during inactive times.
Destroyed in 4 days, i have a 1 year old male pitbull terrier mix n he destroyed it in 4 days. Still bounces but not approved by him. He destroys everything in toys.
One of the few toys are German Shepherd puppy can’t destroy! And these balls are his absolute favorite. He loves to throw them up in the air and then chase after them around the house. Perfect for using up his energy!
I do not recommend this ball for the river. I purchased this one with a brighter color as a replacement to a black one I previously purchased and lost. This one was gone after just one throw into the river so my dog never touched it. It took a very long time to resurface and when it finally did, it was too far for my dog to get. It would may be be okay in a pool setting but not for the river. The GoughNuts yellow stick is a much better option for the river.
I purchased this in January for our Mini-Aussie. We could not keep a toy for him that he would not destroy within minutes. This ball is still alive and well, doesn't even show teeth marks in it. Buying him another to take outside with him.
I was won over by the reviews by other pitbull parents when I searching for a durable ball. Worth. Every. Penny. I type this as our pitbull continuously tries to tear the yellow ball to shreds. It SOUNDS like he’s killing it. He has made NO progress aside from bite marks. It’s great and I’m happy he’s getting much needed enrichment during stay-at-home orders.
