GoughNuts Maxx Pro 50 Ring Dog Toy

The GoughNuts Maxx Pro 50 Ring Dog Toy is an absolute necessity for your ruff and tuff pal. Designed for large, extreme tuggers, the doughnut-shaped toy is made from virtually indestructible material and can endure extreme gnawing, biting and chewing. GoughNuts toys are designed with your pup’s safety in mind. As long as the exterior color is the only color showing, your pup is good to “go” and play the day away. As soon as the red core begins to show, that’s how you know it’s time to “stop” play and replace her toy. Encourage your dog’s natural chewing instinct and oral health by adding this to her toy collection!
Key Benefits- Specifically for large dogs who are extreme tuggers.
- This dog toy is engineer-designed and made from virtually indestructible material. Built for long-lasting use.
- Designed for safety—the toy includes a patented red center layer that indicates a need for replacement should your dog be able to chew through the exterior. The Pro Series is identified with a yellow dot, indicating its hardness and the fact that it does not float in water.
- Makes an excellent tugger toy—perfect for a romp and a chomp.
- Made in the USA.
No toy is indestructible. Supervise your pet when using since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the toy is damaged. Keep out of reach of children.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED
By JennyO on Feb 6, 2021
I have an 11 month old, high drive GSD. I was getting very frustrated with these so called "power chewer" and "virtually" indestructible toys which got destroyed in 10 mins or less. I spoke to one of my K-9 supply vendors, and he suggested these. He said it's the only chew he'll allow his GSDs and Malinois to keep in their kennels. When I researched it and found out they offer a lifetime warranty I was sold! It did have a strong rubbery odor when I first received it, and my GSD rejected it. After a day or two the odor disappeared and now I can't keep him off of it. Word of advice, don't let your dog drop it on your foot. It's heavy, you can feel the weight and solidity of it when you hold it I have an 11 month old, high drive GSD. If your dog is Over 70lbs
By suziq2 on Feb 25, 2021
This item is listed for a large dog and aggressive chewer. Well that's what I have. What the description does not tell you is your large dog should be over 70 lb. I have two dogs under 66 lb. 1 that is 48 lb and one 64 lb. Neither of them will touch this toy. It is heavy it is large. My suggestion is unless you have a breed that is over 70 lb do not purchase this item. I'm going to be donated it to a.. Mill Rescue Center

Best toy we've bought
By DoubleA on Feb 25, 2021
Usually our heavy chewer destroys even "indestructible" toys within a day. I'd highly recommend this product. After almost a month, our dog is still enjoying this toy after much chewing. It's just now starting to show some wear. The only downside is a slight rubber odor.

Really good for tough chewers
By Sharon on Feb 28, 2021
I have tried so many rubber toys and was struggling to find one that my lab/hound mix did not destroy in 5 minutes. This is pricey but well worth the money! I have had it for 2 weeks and no signs of destruction.

Really strong but...
By Joe23 on Feb 18, 2021
This toy is awesome when it comes to durability, especially for extremely agressive chewers. However I think the shape and weight are not ideal. My dog will hold it for a few seconds, then move on to the GoughNuts stick or tug.

Great purchase

Our husky has figured out how to eat other tough toys. This one hasn’t lost a chunk yet.

Great for Large Dogs
By ArtDog on Dec 4, 2020
This finally is a toy that my Rocke can chew and toss around without destroying it. He LOVES it!!

Fine for some, but not mine
By Auggiesmom on Aug 4, 2020
I bought these a few years ago with the hope that we had finally found the answer to our super-chewer's needs. The first one lasted about a week. Subsequent replacements (they used to guarantee them so you could get a replacement for the price of shipping if they chewed through) only lasted a few hours before the red core was showing. Probably fine for most dogs, but our dog continues to destroy any and every toy he can get his teeth on.

Pitty approved!
By PitParent on Aug 10, 2020
This is our second goughnuts toy and our year old pit LOVES them!! He really enjoys the tug toy, though it was not as durable for consistent chewing. We bought this for him to have on his own. It is a bit heavy and the rubber is very thick. I think this will last us a long time :)

Malinois says it’s okay
By talos on Sep 16, 2020
She prefers their ball and stick hands down over this one but it’s still a hit.
