GoughNuts Ring Dog Toy
Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again.
The GoughNuts Ring Dog Toy was designed to give pups a safer, tougher chew toy. This natural rubber ring is made in the USA using engineered carbon reinforcement. Each GoughNuts toy has two layers — the outer color indicates the strength, and the inner core is always red to serve as a safety indicator. Red means stop, so when a dog chews down to this red layer, you know it’s time to order a new GoughNuts Ring. This GoughNuts Ring bounces, rolls and even floats, so it can stand up to extreme games of fetch and all types of outdoor play.
Key Benefits- A natural rubber ring toy that utilizes engineered carbon reinforcement for added durability
- The two layer design is built with a red safety indicator that lets pet parents know it is time to take the toy away from your furry friend
- Perfect for an interactive game of fetch on land or in the water
- A great chew toy option for tough and aggressive chewers
- Easy to clean: just use warm water to wipe GoughNuts Rings clean after a long day of playing
Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Highly disappointing
By Jamason on Mar 20, 2021
Disclaimer, this will be detailed. I have an 85 pound Dutch Shepherd who is 3 years old. I do not let my dog freely chew on toys, rather I allow him to chew a toy on my terms. With that said, I am highly disappointed in this product and could not in good faith recommend this to anyone who’s dog actually chews on a toy. This product had about 10-15 hours worth of chew time on it before the red core was exposed in several places. Needless to say, I do not feel that this product is advertised or priced appropriately.

Seems to be a hit, holding up so far
By Beef on Mar 12, 2021
My 6 month old GSD pup seems to like this thing, and no signs of wear so far after a few days of chewing. My only concern is that this thing is pretty heavy, and she likes to take a break from chewing it to pick it up and fling it around, so I’m thinking of adding a tether of some sort to keep it grounded. It does have a bit of a smell as others have noted, but it’s not overpowering or terribly unpleasant, it’s just rubber!

Only Toy That Stands Up to Chewing
By Lizz on Jan 9, 2021
We have several of these and the tug toy. They have been the only toy our pitty girl can NOT destroy within seconds or even a couple of weeks. Well worth the money, they have lasted several years and many chew sessions. She does eventually start to break them down, but again, after a year or more of play. I also enjoy that the hard rubber is easy to wash after the toy is left out in the yard.

Awesome indestructible dog toy!
By Donna on Feb 8, 2021
This toy is heavy! And it bounces! It is so far only the second toy I have found that my pitty mix hasn’t torn up yet and I’ve had it almost a week!!! And yes he loves to play with it!

Not sure on Goughnuts
By Boxers on Dec 26, 2020
Our pit mix 8 month old foster is the only one who will play with the ring or stick and not for long. She does tend to want no one near it and she hasn't done that with other toys. The Boxers who love toys don't like the smell or taste. They are very strong rubber smell. They seem tough for the chewers, but with the expense and not many playing haven't made up our minds if recommend or not.

Great toy, dog forgot how to dog
By NoahsDad on Nov 28, 2020
We have a mix breed, Noah, and boredom gnawing and chewing is his favorite pastime. This is the first toy that survived more than 7 minutes without being eviscerated. But if you have a part-herding breed, don’t make my mistake of rolling it across the floor the first time you reward your pup with a GoughNut. My dog Noah just thought it was a messed up looking ball. He doesn’t chew it, but REALLY wants me to play catch with it. If you have this toy, you already know it’s too heavy to yeet this thing across the room. Perfect chew toy. Durable, no chips of rubber to clean up. GoughNut: 10/10 - excellent. Noah: 5/10 - meets expectations (still the best boy in the world).

My Irish Wolfhound Puppy loves this!
By Kate on Dec 21, 2020
My 8 month old puppy has destroyed so many chew toys within hours of playing with it. She has had this toy for a full weekend and has not destroyed it!! I saw a few reviews say that their dog wouldn't play with it, however Appa really enjoys this toy. She specifically likes to throw it at the other dogs. Will happily be investing in more GoughNut products :)

Heavy but good toy for a mid-size
By Vlad on Jan 15, 2021
Our mid-sized dog (Border-Collie mix) doesn't chew it, doesn't carry it around so it's of no use there. But since it's round, I can roll it and she chases it, so that works well compared to the other 3 items we tried.

it’s fine but not for us
By JennyBeans on Jan 2, 2021
So this toy is fine! Nothing was wrong with it but my baby girl is too gentle. :( She wouldn’t touch it so I just simply donated the toy. I’m sure the dogs at the shelter must be enjoying it
