Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Food

ARTISAN
Combines tasty tidbits of meat, potatoes, carrots, apples, blueberries and cranberries, and some recipes add bananas, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes.

Pureformance
These recipes start out with chicken, rabbit, goat, lamb or fish, plus wholesome chickpeas, a low-glycemic legume that's full of protein, folic acid and fiber.

Valor
Tasty chicken, turkey or fish is the main course, and quinoa is added as a gluten-free superfood that offers extra protein and amino acids.

Macanna
This food helps increase your pet's nutrient intake with superfood ingredients like hemp hearts, coconut, kale and turmeric.
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Treats

Singles
Choose your dog's favorite protein (or sweet potatoes, if that's his thing) with these single-ingredient treats.

Starters
Made to match the complete food formulas with five of the same ingredients, so you can serve it as an appetizer.

Tiny Tidbits
Bite-sized meatball treats that make satisfying snacks between mealtimes.
Organic, Oven-Baked Treats
These bakery-fresh treats are certified kosher and made from 100% organic, non-GMO ingredients. They're baked into a bear shape and loaded with fruits and vegetables.

Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy
Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!
Nothing Less Than the Best
To make premium pet food, you have to start with the best ingredients. Grandma Lucy's is committed to using GMO-free, human-grade ingredients that meet strict specifications. All ingredients are USDA-inspected and approved, including fresh meat, fruits and veggies from trusted farms. Over 87% is sourced from the US, and Grandma Lucy's maintains personal contact with all growers and suppliers.

About Grandma Lucy's
With a name like Grandma Lucy's, you'd expect a company that's family-owned and operated—one that you can trust. And that's exactly what you'll find. Since 1999, the Shook family has created pet foods of the same quality and made from the same healthy ingredients as their own food. Their main taste tester was Lucy, an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel who had no problem turning down food she didn't like. These recipes have passed the Lucy taste test, so you know your pets are sure to love them just as much.

Not worth your money
By Micci on Feb 23, 2021
This was just a bunch of crushed pieces of sweet potato. Bought to give as treats for my dogs and they wouldn’t touch it. Don’t waste your money on this product.

Sweet Potatoes Mash
By Dinnertreat on Feb 27, 2021
Theses may be good if they were in a chip form, but they are more of a chip crumble. Would not buy again

Rancid Smell
By catangel on Sep 26, 2020
Very disappointed with this item but have been satisfied with other Grandma Lucy's items. It had a rancid/moldy smell and felt the best thing was just to toss it.

By MaxAndHisMom on Mar 10, 2020
My puppy LOVES. THESE. TREATS!! He isn't a picky puppy and eats almost anything but when he loves something, he goes ham on it and he devours these treats.

Good for sensitive frenchies
By Michele on Oct 31, 2019
My frenchie has a sensitive stomach and these freeze dried treats are easy for her to digest. Traditional dehydrated sweet potato treats gave her gas and I found undigested chunks in her poo. Not the case here. She loves these. I’ve even tried them... taste fine by me. The only issue is the price. So expensive. I can run through a bag in less than a week during training classes. And no, it’s not because I’m eating them lol

Great treat for pup with IBD
By Sophie on Sep 16, 2019
My girl has IBD and it was really hard to find a single-ingredient treat that was low fat and easily digestible. These have a great crunch to them and my dog really gets excited every time she sees the bag. Also, we both love that you can break this down into bites small enough to fit in puzzle toys and treat dispensing toys (She ADORES puzzle toys).

These were definitely NOT what I was looking for
By Connie on Sep 21, 2019
Nope. Not these. This is all my fault. I was searching for the ones we usually get but couldn't remember the name. I ended up with 2 bags of these and there is no comparison, sorry Lucy. Check out Wholesome Pride...much thicker and definitely what my dogs want.
