Everything's made in their own state-of-the-art kitchen in Southern California with top-of-the line ingredients and no preservatives or by-products. Just Like Home Cooking
You might not have time to prepare home-cooked meals for your pets, but Grandma Lucy's is always up for the job. They take care in every step by choosing unique USDA meats for their freeze-dried foods and organic, human-quality ingredients for their delicious baked treats. No matter which recipe you feed your pup, you can rest assured that he's getting the best there is!
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Food
Combines tasty tidbits of meat, potatoes, carrots, apples, blueberries and cranberries, and some recipes add bananas, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes.
These recipes start out with chicken, rabbit, goat, lamb or fish, plus wholesome chickpeas, a low-glycemic legume that's full of protein, folic acid and fiber.
Tasty chicken, turkey or fish is the main course, and quinoa is added as a gluten-free superfood that offers extra protein and amino acids.
This food helps increase your pet's nutrient intake with superfood ingredients like hemp hearts, coconut, kale and turmeric.
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Treats
Choose your dog's favorite protein (or sweet potatoes, if that's his thing) with these single-ingredient treats.
Made to match the complete food formulas with five of the same ingredients, so you can serve it as an appetizer.
Bite-sized meatball treats that make satisfying snacks between mealtimes.
Organic, Oven-Baked Treats
These bakery-fresh treats are certified kosher and made from 100% organic, non-GMO ingredients. They're baked into a bear shape and loaded with fruits and vegetables.
Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy
Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!
Nothing Less Than the Best
To make premium pet food, you have to start with the best ingredients. Grandma Lucy's is committed to using GMO-free, human-grade ingredients that meet strict specifications. All ingredients are USDA-inspected and approved, including fresh meat, fruits and veggies from trusted farms. Over 87% is sourced from the US, and Grandma Lucy's maintains personal contact with all growers and suppliers.

With a name like Grandma Lucy's, you'd expect a company that's family-owned and operated—one that you can trust. And that's exactly what you'll find. Since 1999, the Shook family has created pet foods of the same quality and made from the same healthy ingredients as their own food. Their main taste tester was Lucy, an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel who had no problem turning down food she didn't like. These recipes have passed the Lucy taste test, so you know your pets are sure to love them just as much.
Another nice treat from Gandma Lucy's. My sheltie loves these but "sometimes" the bag contains very hard and large pieces that are difficult for my 14 year old dog to break apart.
tasty but different

My dog seemed to like them but I expected the pork to be more of a dried meat consistency than powdery and reformed

Cats and dog (6 total) went crazy for Grandma Lucy's freeze-dried fish. They like this, too, but the cats are unable to break the pieces apart and I have trouble myself. Love the idea, but we'll stick with the softer fish version.
The dog goes nuts

These things are amazing! My dog absolutely loves them and I love knowing I'm not giving her anything other than real freeze dried pork. And that is what it really is, I even tried a piece! I doubt I'll ever go back to commercial now that I've found these

My 12 year old girl has developed many food allergies. She loves her Grandma Lucy's Pork treats, and they never upset her stomach. So, I love them too!
Healthy treat my puppy LOVES.

My year-and-a-half old Golden Retriever loves these healthy pork treats. Dog treats with no additives or fillers are hard to find -- but are the only treats I am comfortable feeding my pup. I wish they weren't so expensive -- but my puppy's health is important to me.
My Maltese loved these treats.
on Oct 4, 2016
Since my Maltese has allergies I had to find a pork treat that had no other ingredients. Grandma Lucy's treats not only met that criteria, but my dog loves them. I'm so glad I found something that satisfies his appetite for treats and doesn't compromise his allergies.
good tasting, but...

gave my dog diarrhea. I'm sure it's a good product if Chewy sells it. It just doesn't seem to agree with my Trudy.

There is one simple ingredient "pork " that's what makes this product so great !! Our dog loves it !!
We love Chewy.com!!!
