You might not have time to prepare home-cooked meals for your pets, but Grandma Lucy's is always up for the job. They take care in every step by choosing unique USDA meats for their freeze-dried foods and organic, human-quality ingredients for their delicious baked treats. No matter which recipe you feed your pup, you can rest assured that he's getting the best there is!
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Food
Combines tasty tidbits of meat, potatoes, carrots, apples, blueberries and cranberries, and some recipes add bananas, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes.
These recipes start out with chicken, rabbit, goat, lamb or fish, plus wholesome chickpeas, a low-glycemic legume that's full of protein, folic acid and fiber.
Tasty chicken, turkey or fish is the main course, and quinoa is added as a gluten-free superfood that offers extra protein and amino acids.
This food helps increase your pet's nutrient intake with superfood ingredients like hemp hearts, coconut, kale and turmeric.
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Treats
Choose your dog's favorite protein (or sweet potatoes, if that's his thing) with these single-ingredient treats.
Made to match the complete food formulas with five of the same ingredients, so you can serve it as an appetizer.
Bite-sized meatball treats that make satisfying snacks between mealtimes.
Organic, Oven-Baked Treats
These bakery-fresh treats are certified kosher and made from 100% organic, non-GMO ingredients. They're baked into a bear shape and loaded with fruits and vegetables.
Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy
Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!
Nothing Less Than the Best
To make premium pet food, you have to start with the best ingredients. Grandma Lucy's is committed to using GMO-free, human-grade ingredients that meet strict specifications. All ingredients are USDA-inspected and approved, including fresh meat, fruits and veggies from trusted farms. Over 87% is sourced from the US, and Grandma Lucy's maintains personal contact with all growers and suppliers.

With a name like Grandma Lucy's, you'd expect a company that's family-owned and operated—one that you can trust. And that's exactly what you'll find. Since 1999, the Shook family has created pet foods of the same quality and made from the same healthy ingredients as their own food. Their main taste tester was Lucy, an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel who had no problem turning down food she didn't like. These recipes have passed the Lucy taste test, so you know your pets are sure to love them just as much.
My Sheltie LOVES these coconut treats. I originally won them in an online contest and when I ran out, I hurried to buy another bag. They smell delicious, and while I haven't tried one myself, I'm sure they taste just as good. (I'm not a big fan of coconut!) They're like the dog version of Teddy Grahams, but organic. I usually split one cookie in half and act like my boy's getting two. I'd absolutely recommend these.

I've always like Grandma Lucy's treats because of their ingredients, and these are no different with regards to the quality of the ingredients. But they are sugar cookies - they are dusted with granulated sugar, and the second ingredient is cane sugar! I ate one myself to see if they were as sugary as they looked and smelled, and they are super sweet. Of course the dogs love them, they're little sugar bombs!
The cookies themselves are pretty small and thin and very crispy, so the bag has a lot of broken cookies.
I won't be buying them again because of the high sugar content - I'll stick to the Fruitables Greek Yogurt Coconut cookies instead, which the dogs also love.

My cavalier loves grandma Lucy’s ! So far we’ve tried the lemon and honey flavor, the sweet potato and pumpkin flavor, as well as the coconut flavor and our dog Mimi just can’t get enough no matter which flavor she tries !

My dog (Noki) refuses to eat this treat. He has always ate blueberry and cranberry and continues to like those but not coconut.

Heidi loves these treats. I sometimes add them to her meals, and she will pick them out first.

I can’t say much for the product, because I still haven’t gotten in more than 2 weeks after I ordered it. After two emails with no explanation other than high volume (I get that, but TWO WEEKS?!), I suddenly get a shipping notice. I feel it is more likely that my order fell through the cracks until my emails. I miss the old Chewy

So opened these up and got a whiff. Man, they smelled good. I was skeptical the Hooligans would eat them but they gobbled them up and came back for more. It's weird they take a treat run off, eat the treat, then come back. On the second they stayed put chewed it up and licked the floor for any microscopic crumb. They loved these things. I have to admit they smelled so good. I hate coconut but my curiosity did me in. I tried part of a broken one(hey it's human grade stuff right). It was pretty tasty. I'll leave the cookies for the hooligans but in case anyone is curious they taste exactly as they smell. Yummy.

My three dogs love these tasty treats. We have used these along with the apple and pumpkin ones to reward our guys. If I forget they will stand by the container until they get one. These cookies do get broken a bit in shipping, but I typically only give them half at a time anyway.
