Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Food
Combines tasty tidbits of meat, potatoes, carrots, apples, blueberries and cranberries, and some recipes add bananas, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes.
These recipes start out with chicken, rabbit, goat, lamb or fish, plus wholesome chickpeas, a low-glycemic legume that's full of protein, folic acid and fiber.
Tasty chicken, turkey or fish is the main course, and quinoa is added as a gluten-free superfood that offers extra protein and amino acids.
This food helps increase your pet's nutrient intake with superfood ingredients like hemp hearts, coconut, kale and turmeric.
Freeze-Dried, Grain-Free Treats
Choose your dog's favorite protein (or sweet potatoes, if that's his thing) with these single-ingredient treats.
Made to match the complete food formulas with five of the same ingredients, so you can serve it as an appetizer.
Bite-sized meatball treats that make satisfying snacks between mealtimes.
Organic, Oven-Baked Treats
These bakery-fresh treats are certified kosher and made from 100% organic, non-GMO ingredients. They're baked into a bear shape and loaded with fruits and vegetables.
Grandma's Special Tummy Remedy
Simple Remedy is just what the (doggie) doctor ordered for an upset stomach. It's the traditional recipe for nausea, vomiting and diarrhea that's easy to digest and gentle on the stomach. This formula is recommended by veterinarians as something you can feed your pup in place of his regular meal until he's back to normal. The recipe is simple—just boneless, skinless chicken breast meat and plain white rice. Add some water, and it's ready to serve!
Nothing Less Than the Best
To make premium pet food, you have to start with the best ingredients. Grandma Lucy's is committed to using GMO-free, human-grade ingredients that meet strict specifications. All ingredients are USDA-inspected and approved, including fresh meat, fruits and veggies from trusted farms. With a name like Grandma Lucy's, you'd expect a company that's family-owned and operated—one that you can trust. And that's exactly what you'll find. Since 1999, the Shook family has created pet foods of the same quality and made from the same healthy ingredients as their own food. Their main taste tester was Lucy, an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel who had no problem turning down food she didn't like. These recipes have passed the Lucy taste test, so you know your pets are sure to love them just as much.
These treats are so cutely shaped and smelled delicious. My boyfriend accidentally mistook them as human snacks and almost ate one. My pup loves them (but he loves all treats), my only complaint would be how powdery/gritty these treats are. They leave crumbs everywhere, on my hands and on my floors (my pup isn’t the cleanest of eaters).
These are a winner

My sister in Texas, a loyal Chewy customer, sent me some to try for my finicky eaters. Both my dogs, ages 5 and 14, really like this healthier option. Now I wish Grandma Lucy would start offering dog food, since I haven't found one that both dogs will eat consistently. Since Bebe and Peppy eat this treat so readily, I'm going to try some other flavors from this company.

My picky eater loves the pumpkin cookies! She is so picky that she needs a topping on her dinner bowl, so, I crunch 2 cookies to sprinkle atop. Food disappeared! Good treats!
Uses wheat rather than oat flour
on May 5, 2021
My dog and I really enjoyed Grandma Lucy's coconut cookies, which used organic oat flour and recently have been discontinued.
I don't know if these pumpkin cookies used to use oat flour too or if they always have used wheat flour.
Regardless, we tried a bag and neither my dog nor I liked these wheat cookies as much as we liked the oat ones.
The pumpkin flavor is mild and not that important. The wheat flour is much less preferable (from a taste and health standpoint) than the oat flour was though.

My very picky pup loves these little "cookies"...since she needs to shed a few pounds, she can have a couple of these each day. They smell good to me, too!! Yes, I totally recommend them.
Smells Good Enough to Eat

My dog won't touch it. Has become very picky in his advancing years. Not Grandma Lucy's fault. It's harder to please him.
Don't like the taste
on Jan 24, 2021
I bought three flavors. Hengheng likes the taste of cranberry very much, but he doesn't like the taste of pumpkin. Every time he gives it to him, he won't eat it. There's also a blueberry flavor that I haven't opened yet, and I don't know if it likes it. I recommend cranberry, which I eat myself
Best treats ever

These by far are the best tasting treats ever. I gave my yorkie one and they smelled so good that I had to try one. He has a sensitive stomach and these do not bother his stomach at all. This is our daily snack. Two for me and one for him. I am going to try and not eat them all. They are DELISH!!!! We love them!!!!

Grandma Lucy’s Organic treats have it all. The ingredients are highest quality and organic. The Pumpkin Recipe treats smell delicious and my dog (a wheaten terrier) loves them. These are teddy bear shaped and just the right size for a quick treat or reward.
Too much sugar

It’s nice that these treats are organic, but I don’t see the need for all the sugar and wheat products. The pumpkin is powered. I should have read the ingredients
