  • Now contains peas!

My dog is highly allergic to alot of ingredients. I was Soo happy when I saw this back on the shelf, ordered 3 bags. When I opened it, I noticed it was not the same picture on the bag, I then read the ingredients to find it now contains a host of items my dog can not tolerate. A shame this wasn't marked as a changed recipe. I'm so glad I didn't feed this to him and I checked. Could have been very costly, in many ways

  • Great Life Grain Free Buffalo Dry Dog Food

This food worked very well for all three of my dogs. No problem switching them and they loved it. I feed many different foods to my dogs always switching brands and formulas so they get a wider variety of meat, vitamins, and minerals.

  • changed ingredient

The ingredients are different than stated on the website. Very disappointed. My dog has allergies and the ingredient list on the website would have worked for him unfortunately I can't say the same about the "actual ingredients" on the bag!!!

  • No alergic reactions

    By on

My dog has skin allergies and is allergic to most things found in dog foods. This one doesn't have any of the items on her "forbidden" list. Also, much less waste than any other food we have tried.

  • Suddenly doesn't like.

    By on

I have been feeding Great Life Buffalo for over a year and my greyhound loved it. We were on auto delivery until last week when I cancelled. The last 2 bags smelled "off", I thought it was my imagination at first. My boy started leaving part of his breakfast and dinner in his dish, but still acted hungry. The only way he would eat the dry is with lot's of "goodies" on top, like canned food. I thought he was just being fussy. I switched brands and he can't get enough of the new food. I wonder if the bags are sitting in a hot warehouse for an extended time and going bad? I did call Chewy customer service to let them know of the problem in case anyone else has the same issue. Love Chewy!!

  • High quality food

Great food! My dog loves it and her coat has never looked better. I would recommend phasing it in with other foods though as its very nutrient dense and was a little tough on her tummy the first few days.

  • Good for him / he likes it

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I bought this because Chewy was out of the food made by the same company that I had switched my little dog to. He has a lot of allergies and is on a restricted diet but I thought that it would be okay because he'd had all but a couple of the items in the food, and it turned out to not only be fine, but he likes it. It's nice to know that I have a fallback food if it happens again.
