My hound is addicted to his greenies . Every evening after meal time he expects one . If I get busy and forget he won't stop letting me know . It's really funny . He just goes crazy ! I gave them 4 stars only because I do t see as much plaque removal as I expected . Though it may be because his teeth were in bad shape and he practically inhales the things .
Our lab/shepherd mix gets one of these at night and all we have to say is, "Is it time for your Greenie?" and he goes straight to the drawer where we keep them and then into his kennel. Its a night-time routine that he loves!
I live for Greenies. My Mommy will only give me 1 per day, but that's ok. She says they are way too expensive, but Im a special boy. Makes my breath fresh too. I wish my Mommy didn't had more money so I could have more Greenies!
They do seem to help my dog's breath and teeth, however they don't seem to agree with him as I end up finding large gross globs of green in his poops in the yard. I don't have this issue with most other dental treats!
My dog doesn't get excited about many things, but she gets SO excited for these. The bag comes out after she eats dinner and her tail is wagging so fast she's about to take off into the sky. She seems to really enjoy both the act of chewing them and the taste, and they seem to help keep her teeth clean, so that's a win for us both!!
Kai, my 90+ lb Rott"goober", loves the large Greenies. When I give him one, it's a grab and run to the living room to devour it. Not a crumb left and not messy at all for the carpet.
Greenies must not be close to as great as the ones you no longer carry as it took my dogs a few days before they would eat them. taste has to be totally different.
I have a pit bull mix who absolutely loves his Greenie. We give it to him every night after we’ve eaten dinner, and it’s his cue to settle in and relax for the evening. My pup loves to chew everything, and often ends up with gunk in his teeth - these seem to help a lot!
Our dog loves these, they are given as rewards for following commands and after grooming and nail cutting. She has gone from anxiety filled for that type of stuff to completely calm until the excitement when we are done. She goes to the room these are in and looks right at them.
All my human has to say is, do you want a Greenie and all stubbornness in my body disappears. Oh and my breath smells better and my teeth stay clean
