He's had them in the past and they were fine, but I just bought 2 large boxes and gave him 1 and then another later that day. He scarfed them down as expected. The next day he was acting sick and wouldn't touch one. He then went on to being very very sick for the next 6 days, vomiting and diharrea, sleeping a lot, lethargic. Had to take him to the vet...he wouldn't eat or drink. After the vet gave an IV, meds to stimulate appetite, anti nausea, and pain meds, he finally started drinking water and then eating food. After a week he was back to some level of health. I decided to treat him with a greenie! He ate somewhat one of them....I thought that strange but not too much thought....He didn't eat the rest of the day and part of the next day. When I spoke to the vet again, they reminded me that I had given him a greenie at the onset of both sicknesses!! The vet said sometimes they can make a bad batch??!! I'm guessing this is what happened. So now I have this huge quantity, and they are not cheap, and I will not give them to my dog again.
our Heidi gets one greeny when she goes to bed for the night. She knows when she climbs in bed she will get her greeny, we tell her it's to brush her teeth and she loves them! Her vet tells us every time we see her how gr8 her teeth are! So far the easiest way we found to keep her teeth clean and strong!
Our Corgis love the Greenies. They don't last very long, but not many things do with these miniature velociraptors. One of our older boys is missing some major molars so things like bully sticks are a bit too much for him. The Greenies are soft enough for him to chew and still provide some chewing satisfaction.
My dog thinks these are real treats. He loves them and always asks for more than the one a day he is supposed to have. Don't know about the teeth yet, but his breath is definitely better.
Gus LOVES his Greenies! Because he does, we order them by auto ship every three weeks! Fantastic treat! Gus would happily eat them for a meal if we allowed, Helps breath too!
My dog looks forward to his daily Greenies treat. If I am too busy or forget, he’ll remind me. I wasn’t sure if they are actually good for his teeth but his vet said they definitely are. He’s a Lab mix and about 60-65 lbs. I get him the original size.
I've been giving my dogs Greenies for 20 years. All my dogs love them and helps keep teeth pretty clean between dental visits. Also, Ora Vet with the chemical that coats the dogs teeth have not worked better than Greenies for either of my dogs.
We've given these to our dogs for years. The "Original" size is just right for our mini-schnauzer and Westie. Helps keep the teeth clean and they look forward to their midday treat. Good product.
I have been using these in conjunction with regular tooth brushing and have seen a notable improvement in my dogs teeth! He also seems to really like them which is awesome.
With three dogs, you need a lot of greenies. So Chewy is my go to for everything puppy. When I run out I know that I’ll have whatever I need on my porch within 2 days of ordering. You guys are GREAT and Greenies are a great product. My puppies love them and all I need to say is “ let’s clean those teeth” and they know it’s Greenies time.
