Shipping is slow
Love the product but hate that everything takes over a week to arrive from Chewy now. I miss the days I would get my orders and dog food 2-3 days once I ordered. May have to start buying my dog supplies else where!!
Great Product
My beautiful shepherd mix puppy needed a coat make over after being rescued and now she doesn’t want to eat anything without her fish oil on it. We bought the 64 oz size, she gets it morning and night, and we still haven’t used the whole bottle in 6 months! It does leak from the pump a little bit but not enough to stop using it. I keep a paper towel under it and on top of wax paper so it doesn’t get on the counter.

Love this product
I have been using this product for several years and love how healthy my dogs coats look. The vet said my 8 year old pitty looks about 2-3 because of her shiny coat and overall appearance. I highly recommend this product!

Dog said, it smells like disappointment.
I bought this for an older dog who is a picky eater. A few nights before receiving this product, I had given her some of my leftover salmon filet and she licked her bowl clean. I was sure this was going to be received as a treat, but it turned out to be anything but. I put the recommended three (3) pumps onto a full bowl of her normal dry dog food, mixed it in, and put it down in front of her. She had been wagging her tail and prancing in place waiting for her dinner. She sniffed her food, and the oil, and walked away, tail down and pouting. She didn't touch her food all night and refused to eat it in the morning as well. This might be good for some, but not for Shelby girl. She was fine with eating fish oil from the omega-3 capsules that I take, but it's costly and messy trying to break enough capsules open to put on her food every night. I was really hoping this would have been a better option, but she absolutely refused it.
Dog Disliked
I got this to help with my beagle-mix's shedding, but he will not eat any kind of food that this oil touches. He actively avoids it, and will eat around it. If it's mixed in, he won't eat the food. It was disappointing. A side note for the less picky dogs, this is messy. I was careful to pump it, but it still leaked and made a mess. I had to keep a paper towel under the bottle.
At the recommendation of The Modern Ferret
Bought this for my ferrets at the recommendation of The Modern Ferret since this is apparently the same oil that they use for theirs, but none of mine were interested in it. We tried all different methods of getting them to try it, and nobody cared about it or anything. Usually they aren’t very receptive to treats and what not, but the moment we can actually get them to taste it, they are very interested. We were hoping that this would help their coats during the shedding months, and just give them a nice treat when we cut their nails, but unfortunately no one was interested. We also have a dog, so we may try giving it to him after talking to his vet, but as of right now I have a pretty neutral opinion on this product. If you’re buying it for your ferrets, maybe try seeing if you can buy it in store first, and getting a smaller bottle.

Going to throw out
Maybe I got a defective bottle, but it comes out not clearly as oil but a bright red something which my cat will not TOUCH. Tried three times. This old cat loves oils, especially fish oils, but I have to wonder what this really is. Going to throw out my large bottle and order some real fish oil.
