You do not need to install the metal prongs to use non-shock features including beep and vibration.

Will this collar detect barking from another dog other than the one it is on, and activate?

The collar is activated by the barking dog who is wearing it. Other dogs' barking or ambient noises will not trigger the anti-bark mechanism.
Does this collar have a mode where it can only vibrate with no beep or shock? And can it be worn with a normal collar or will the dog tags set it off?

This collar can be set to the optional humane vibration setting. Wearing this collar with other collars may interfere with the contact points. Remove collar if not in training to avoid skin irritations or injuries.

Bark collar

Keeps shocking my dog it is not good product. I hope I can send it back and try something that I don't have him wear it. I need a box and label. The box was very damaged when I received the product.

Terrible collar closure design and unreliable!

We purchased two as we have two dogs that feed off of each others barking. Good first, the touch screen is cool and it stays charged for a very long time. Bad, the nylon collar portion is a poor design for the closure mechanism. It would fall off our dogs as the collars would loosen very easily. We ended up cutting the nylon collars off the little box and replacing it with purchased nylon collars with good closures. Also, this collar will go off if another dog is barking, reprimanding the wrong dog unnecessarily. Further, one dog could be barking like a crazy animal and the collar would not go off, while the other collar would go off at the slightest noise. The more sensitive collar would also go off at random noises, such as a dog eating, poor guy didn’t need to be punished for eating! There are likely better collars out there. This one is unreliable.

Great barking collar holds charge for long time. Recommend you get one.

Get collar holds charge a long time. It's also waterproof and can even submerge in water fully waterproof. Great collar with all the settings. Price is right for you to buy

Perfect!

I love the LCD touch screen! That makes using this collar so much easier and convenient! The actual collar holds well and is very well made, the bark box itself functions well and with ease!

So easy to use

I love this collar. There's no confusion on what button you're pressing. I've had one before that all the buttons looked the same so you would accidentally shock when you didn't mean to. This one was easy to set up, easy to read, and easy to use
