Do these remotes have a automated bark sensor or is it just the remote?
Answer by ChewyMay 01, 2023
This training collar features a beeping tone and 100 levels of vibration and static shock that are controlled by a push button on a remote. There’s also an automatic anti-bark feature that can be activated, when wanted.

stopped working 2 weeks in

They’ve all but stopped working now. They beep if you press the controller button. No vibration. No shock. Barking beep no longer comes in. My one dog tore into the other yesterday and no way to stop them … emergency vet at 8pm, surgery, $2000 later and home at 2am. Got these for safety and learning. Pointless.

Works great, just what I needed

This works great on our two mini Aussies. We were having a terrible time with not listening, one of the jumping a fence and going to bark at our goats and their guardians. He got zapped a few times, and now all it takes is the tone and he stops what he's doing. His brother took one zap, and now just needs to hear the tone on the other collar. If he's being particularly stubborn, he needs a vibraton to get his attention. I've never had to zap them again. I mostly don't have to do anything other than a voice command most of the time now. The only issue I've had is accidentally getting one when I have the controller around my neck and lean against something, so I make sure to either not do that, or put it on 3, which is not in use. It's very easy to switch between collars. We also accidentally set it up for automatic bark control once, so be careful not to hold the "on" button for long (it takes 3 seconds to set the automatic control).

Why did I buy this?

I bought this collar because it purportedly had auto and manual mode. However, good luck figuring that out as the instructions are some of the worst and most confusing I've ever tried to decode. In addition, the collars are extremely cheap, the interface on the transmitter screen is tiny and impossible to read and it's set up for 3 dogs, so you have to stop and fumble around to toggle between three channels to get from dog 2 to dog 1 (that is if you can read the screen - bring your readers!) But the deal breaker: the collar beeps my dog when he's swimming, sticking his head out the window or just shaking his head and needs no correction. I've tried tightening the collar but still misfires. Pretty much a waste of money ... (ps: this is nothing against Chewy, I think the website it great!)

DO NOT BUY!!!

At first it worked pretty good but a week into it one dog would bark and would trigger the other dogs collar. Another time my dogs were barking nonstop when I checked the collars were blinking like they were on but were not responding to the dogs barking. The final straw was when my dog barked and all of a sudden the collar would not shut off! My dog ran scared and coward in a corner as the alarm continue to ring we do not know if the dog was shocked as well. The collar malfunction!!! IT WOULD NOT SHUT OFFLuckily my husband was home and was able to remove the collar. NO WAY will I ever put a BARK collar on my dogS again. do NOT buy this item!

Works great for both dogs!

My dogs each have their own training needs, but these collars allow for me to use different methods on each dog. The battery life is great, so we don’t have to worry about charging them more than about once every two months.

Two collars for Two dogs!

This is such a great deal, and has really helped with walking two crazy dogs and keeping them in line. The remote is super easy to use and not needlessly complicated.

Puppy from well you know

This is a 67 pound 5 month Rottweiler that nothing phases. I have had the collar for two weeks and it does nothing. Even the shock part on high doesn't get her attention. But I will keep trying.
