Good, Quiet, but Heavy
I really like this wheel. I tried it in multiple places attached to tubes and attached to the habitat itself. While my gerbils love the wheel and the debris catcher is amazing, after a day or two of active use the wheel causes the tubing to come loose. I think if the wheel gets a lot of use while attached to tubing it will cause the tubing to come loose. If you have another place to put it, it is a great wheel.
Difficult for dwarf hammy to run
The wheel didn’t spin easily at all when first assembled. After filing down some rough edges and greasing with olive oil, improved a little. Still catches in one spot and our hammy isn’t heavy enough to move it on his own easily. He’s dragged some of his bedding to it and sleeps in there though so it’s another nice spot for him to hang out in!
Cookie loves it. Syrian hamster
I had this for one day and already my 1year old Syrian hamster loves the wheel she only left it to get food and a drink she then would eat her food in the wheel and even took her bedding up there to sleep so cute :) so far I love it when she goes potty it dosnt stay in the wheel even thou it was said the wheel was 10inch it's not so its only 8 or 9 but it fits her better then the 8inch wheel from petsmart. She is more active because of the wheel. Over all it cames apart easy to clean and is a decent size for my full grown Syrian hamster I want to say she is a decently large hamster she seems to have enough room that she can even turn around.
Wouldn’t spin properly
Even though the wheel is quiet, my hamster could not use this wheel since it got stuck every time it turned.
Not 10 inches!
I ordered this wheel because I have a Syrian and wanted a larger wheel. A previous answer to a question stated the wheel is 10 inches in diameter. This is NOT true, the wheel itself measures 7 inches. Maybe the whole thing measures 10 inches including the debris catcher. This is a great quiet wheel, I just wish it was 10 inches! Please make a larger Habitrail wheel for Syrians!
SO QUIET! Highly Recommend
This wheel is amazing! It is very quiet and wont shake your hammys cage if you use tubing to keep the wheel farther from the cage. Also the accident catcher is genius! (I have a Robo Dwarf and he runs all throughout the night.)
Perfect Wheel
My hamster Karyna got right in this wheel and ran like there was no tomorrow. It wasn't noisy (not that I would mind if it was) but it was very quiet. I like that it isn't inside the cage. I recommend for sure.
