Feeding Instructions

Kitten: Up to 20 weeks old: Feed as much as kitten will eat in 3 to 4 feedings per day From 21 to 30 weeks old: Feed about 1 can per pound of body weight per day From 31 to 52 weeks old: Feed 1.5 cans per pound of body weight per day

Transition Instructions
  • Days 1 - 3: 75% non Halo food, 25% Halo

  • Days 4 - 5: 50% non Halo food, 50% Halo

  • Days 6 - 7: 25% non Halo food, 75% Halo

  • Days 8+: 100% Halo

Pets with sensitive stomachs may need to transition a little more slowly to avoid any digestive upset. If you introduce the new food too quickly and your cat or dog experiences some digestive upset, just back up to the previous transition amount where your pet wasn’t having any trouble and feed that amount for a few more days before continuing with the transition. Once your pet is eating all Halo food, if you switch between Halo recipes, consider a 2- or 3-day transition to minimize stomach upset.

Great little item at a good price

    By on

Fragrant, easily digested ... and it brings my little ones running. Good as a topper for dry food (mixed with s bit of water or broth) and a very convenient size if you’re traveling somewhere with your pet and want them to have a taste of “home.”

My kitten doesn’t really like it :/

    By on

I really like this brand because it seems like they try to get good ingredients for their pet foods but my kitten didn’t really enjoy the canned food. She will eventually eat it, but instead of getting through her usual two cans a day she’s getting through half of one. She prefers her dry food over this wet one :( oh well !

Our 10 week old Ragdoll kitten just loves the pate chicken Halo. Eats everything off her plate and wants more. Her poops are great too.

    Foster kitty approved!

    By on

I love Halo's entire brand, but it was great to know that our foster kitties loved it too! Their other formulas were life-changing for my other cats (not an understatement, it aided the reversal of several issues). I'm glad I found a food that the kittens go crazy over that I also approve of!

    Potentially Unsafe Ingredients

    By on

It's widely accepted that carrageenan should not be used in pet food. At the very least, it's potentially unsafe and should be avoided. This item contains agar-agar, which is essentially the same thing. Nice try, Halo.

    turned the cat wierd

    By on

my kitten likes a few of the brands we have tried. This kind made him weird. He we take a couple bites and then scratch the floor for a couple minutes and then go back for another and repeat on the floor. Sadly i bought a case because he has liked everything he has been giving. usually he just sits there and eats all his food and ask for more. With this when i pop the can , he smells it and walks away.

    Helped a Sensitive Tummy

I feed my kitten this canned food along with Halo kibble and it is the only food we have found that she can keep down. She has been able to finally put on weight and is thriving! Plus, she LOVES it!

    Everyone likes it!

This food - and in this flavor (Chicken Recipe)seems to be the new favorite with my cats. They don't seem to like the Whitefish, but the chicken is a hit.
