Pets with sensitive stomachs may need to transition a little more slowly to avoid any digestive upset. If you introduce the new food too quickly and your cat or dog experiences some digestive upset, just back up to the previous transition amount where your pet wasn’t having any trouble and feed that amount for a few more days before continuing with the transition. Once your pet is eating all Halo food, if you switch between Halo recipes, consider a 2- or 3-day transition to minimize stomach upset.

Holistic. Whole. Humane.
Halo is committed to providing no less than the best holistic recipes to satisfy your cat’s carnivorous cravings. Their wet cat food combines pure, natural ingredients like whole meat, poultry and fish plus non-GMO fruits and vegetables for delicious, more digestible meals. Following a whole meat philosophy, Halo never uses animal by-products or meat meals—just the real, whole proteins your cat needs to thrive.
Super Digestibility
Halo believes that whole meat equals a whole lot more digestibility. As obligate carnivores, cats need meat, not just parts of animals that you wouldn’t consider to be meat. When your pet gets whole proteins instead of rendered meats like chicken meal or fish meal, they’re getting optimum nutrition that’s easier for their body to digest. And that means they can get the full benefits of each nutrient-rich ingredient.
What's in Your Cat's Bowl?
With Halo, you won’t see a "meat meal" hiding anywhere in the ingredients, and there’s no corn, wheat, wheat gluten, rice or artificial colors, preservatives or flavors. Here’s what you will find:
Holistic Whole Protein: Salmon, whitefish, chicken or turkey that's slow-cooked provides a more digestible source of protein with up to 16 times less ash than rendered meat.
Non-GMO Produce: Fruits and vegetables from farms that refuse to use genetically modified seeds that rely heavily on chemical fertilizers and herbicides to produce crops.

Halo Canned cat food
By Wows on Feb 21, 2021
This is a very expensive, but eco-friendly cat food which we wanted to try for the first time. The cats love it, but nearly every single can arrived dented within the case. It almost appears as if the cans were dented pre-packaging and packaged that way. Due to issues with potential contamination, any dented cans should be discounted heavily, if sold at all. Very unhappy with this purchase.

Halo Chicken, Salmo Turkey Variety pack canned cat food
By Barbara on Jan 6, 2021
Decided to try a variety pack for my 2 cats as they enjoy other 'flavors' of Halo canned cat food. They love the Turkey!! The salmon is just okay in their minds and to their taste buds. The chicken is a big fail to their minds and taste buds. Otherwise, the cat food is a good quality, so the 4 stars is only because my particular cats don't care for 2 of the flavors in this variety pack.

Good ingredients, but not for us
By crnnhflr on Jan 7, 2021
We just moved to the US and are looking for new food brands and trying out a lot. Until now, my cats were not picky eaters at all, but unfortunately my cats wouldn't eat this food. Even though I really like the ingredients, my cats didn't appreciate both the smell, taste and structure of it. We will keep on searching...

Love this item

I was so glad to see the variety pack. This gave my cats a chance to sample new foods. Now I know what they like/love and what to order in the future.

Kitties said no to pate
By megan on Nov 13, 2020
First of all, the texture is much more pate than a stew, the only thing in chunks was the vegetables. To me it looks and smells good, just more of a ground than a stew. Even the cat who isn't picky doesn't care for any of the varieties in this pack, he'll lick a little at it but leave most of it to dry in the bowl. The other cat smells it and turns away completely. Usually they love Spots stew but this was a big paws down for my boys.

I've been feeding my cats this for years!
By Sophia on Oct 31, 2020
I've been feeding Halo to my cats for years. I'll mix it up for them by getting then some Wellness, blue buffalo, weruva, instinct, science diet, natural balance, etc. But I usually go back to ordering some of this for them. And both my cats like it. Neither of them have any problems with the little peas and carrots and their coats are consistently shiny and soft!

Failed Purchase
By ctheab on Nov 3, 2020
I was optimistic about this product when I ordered. It looked good when I opened the first can, but my cat would not eat this at all. Compared to other pates, it’s very soft and almost liquify. I think my cat also had a hard time licking it up.

Cat loves it
By Munchkinland on Nov 10, 2020
I bought this food on a whim. My cat had been getting tired of Science Diet wet food. He LOVES this food. We only give him 1/3 of a can and he is still excited to eat it on the second and third day.

Nope not for my fussy cat
By Tigger on Dec 15, 2020
My cat did not like the texture and would not eat it. Had to Mix it with my feral cats food to get rid of it.
