You need an advanced degree in information technology and a lot of free time. The instructions are awful. The terminology confusing. I'm a mature educated person. I've went to college and grad school for 7 years and this contraption is beyond me. It's going right back and I'm getting a refund. Spend the extra $$ and either install an underground invisible dog fence ot have a dog run built. This thing is a pain in the neck. I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure it out.

GPS lost signal and dog ran away. Returned all 3 collars 8 months ago and the customer service, essentially nonexistent, states they have refunded my money. Bank is still fighting with them and Im down almost 3k. Customer service doesnt answer and email is a joke. Purchased from actual halo website. Collar shipped from overseas which was my first concern and I didnt get it for 2 to 3 weeks.

This collar has been totally unreliable. For $800 and a monthly subscription fee, I am shocked at how inaccurate the GPS is and the collar failing by applying unnecessary feedback to my dog on a daily basis. It has come to the point where I don't even trust to have fences on at all. This is already my second collar and I've only had it a week and it is already giving me issues. Completely disappointed.

We recently upgraded to the two-plus version of this collar and MAN what a difference it makes. The Halo 1 was decent, though the battery life was a little lackluster for my pup and me. The 2+ changed all of that, better range, better tracking, more durable and the pro-case is super helpful because she likes to play in the mud.

Halo has totally changed my life with my dog. I am now able to let my dog run off leash wherever we go. I feel she is safe and I can take her with me when I travel. I highly recommend this collar.

Halo Collar Review - we have had our Halo Collar for nearly a year now. And it is working great. Our dog loves it - and knows that he'll get outside "free and clear" when we put the collar on him. Their customer service has improved so much over time as well. Definitely recommend the Halo Collar

This worked so well for my 1 year old lab. I live in the burbs and it my life and my dogs life so much more safe.

We have 2 of the newer version of Halo and we LOVE them. I have Gordon Setters, who are VERY active and birdy. They are prey driven. This allows them to run our almost 2 acres, without me worrying that they will get into trouble or get hurt. My male especially will run ALL DAY if allowed. At the end of the day he is a tired and happy well behaved pup. These were money well spent. I have had invisible fence, which ended up not good for my previous dog, because he got out and couldn't get back in without getting shocked. This prevents that from happening. Customer Service has been top notch. Most issues that I have had (as well as others that I talk with on FB) were user error. Customer We have 2 of the newer version of Halo and we LOVE them. GPS is awesome and wireless fence works great! I have tried other wireless fence collars with GPS and they were not consistent so I didn't have high expectations for the Halo 2 collar but it definitely changed my mind and I'm so happy I spent the money to get it. My dog isn't too stubborn so she responds right away to the boundaries I set. I did start with the $10 monthly subscription but I might switch to the $5 one. I'm not too worried about how often she listens to the feedback warnings or how active she is during the day; I just want her safe in my yard.
