Healthful Ingredients for Wholesome Nutrition
Garden of Vegan delivers the complete and balanced nutrition that every dog needs. Each meat-less recipe, from wet food to kibble and treats, is made with non-GMO fruits and vegetables, chickpeas, healthy oils, plus added vitamins and minerals to support your pet's overall well-being. Garden of Vegan offers dogs an alternative to a meat-based diet that's just as nutritious as it is delicious!
Great for Protein-Sensitive Pups
Some dogs have a tough time digesting meat and other ingredients like dairy, corn and wheat. That's why Halo's Garden of Vegan doesn't use any of those ingredients, but instead crafts plant-based recipes with protein from chickpeas, barley, oats and green peas. Even dogs on restricted diets and with food sensitivities can get the nutrition they need without the meat!

Can Dogs Be Vegan?
They sure can! Cats are obligate carnivores, which means they need meat to thrive, while dogs are omnivores and can consume plants and/or animals as their main source of food. That means, they can get the nutrients they need from a completely plant-based diet like Halo's vegan dog food. Plus, every Garden of Vegan recipe meets the national levels of dogs' nutrient requirements established by AAFCO.
Adopting a Vegan Lifestyle
Many pet parents choose Garden of Vegan because it provides their pup with a complete and balanced way to join their current vegan lifestyle. Others choose it because their dog is sensitive to animal protein, or because they want to integrate more plant-based foods into their diet. Whatever your reason is for choosing Halo, you can feel confident that every bite is loaded with wholesome nutrition.

Vegan Senior Dog Loves These
By Justine on Sep 15, 2020
My dog really loves these treats. They are a good size and texture for all dogs. They are crunchy but not too crunchy. They are a little dry like some of the other reviews were saying, but my pup and I don’t have a problem with that! She has sensitive teeth as a senior and she handles these very well. They have great ingredients and they I’m happy to feed her a cruelty free treat :)

We have 6 rescue dogs and not one would even try these Vegan Treats from Halo. They LOVE all the other Halo products but these ended up in the bird feeders.

Our recent purchases
By Roadrunner on Jun 17, 2020
We have been so pleased with the prompt service and delivery of our products that were purchased recently. The Healthsome Garden of Vegan Dog Treats are excellent and both our little dogs love them. We feel these cookies are a healthy treat and that's important to us. We have also gotten our little Sadi's prescriptions filled at a great price and fast delivery. Chewy is an excellent company and we highly recommend them.

Despite the simple ingredients, I won't puchase these again
By Mekare on Dec 23, 2019
As the title states, I like the simple ingredients of this treat. I don't feed vegan as a rule. I bought these to add a little fiber each day, in addition to her raw, frozen meat based diet. These are very dry and smell a bit like stale straw. If I give her more than one small disk, she gets backed up...and sometimes even with just one. I don't know if this is a sensitivity reaction the quinoa as this is the only treat I've given her with quinoa in it but I have enough high quality treats, I don't want to mess with trying to find a way for her to eat this one. I can't say it's a bad treat but I don't recommend it based on my experience with my pet.

My dog likes it a lot!!
By Carid24 on Dec 8, 2019
I really love the simple ingredients, although I do wish there wasn’t any oil(it’s very hard to find oil-free dog food) I’m trying to cut down on the amount of meat my dog eats, and trying to loose some of his weight. He really enjoys these and asks for more. Another good vegan treat is the cadet potatoe fries(or any brand). I like that this isn’t over priced. They sent hard at all and aren’t too soft or messy, just perfect! I really recommend.

Funky smell
By dawgz on Dec 27, 2019
They smell like something I could make from ingredients found in the woods but the dogs seem to like them. Which makes sense because they eat a lot of stuff that smells unappetizing to my discerning human palate.
