Great healthy option!
I have an almost 7 month old kitten with a confirmed chicken allergy and an intolerance to beef/tuna. This was one of the ONLY kitten designed dry foods I could find that is both grain free and chicken free without breaking the bank. My boy has had zero issues with this food and eats it up. I love knowing I’m still able to feed him something with healthy ingredients despite his protein limitations.

My 8-month old kittens really like this food. I give them a blend of various dry kibbles, and sometimes they leave food uneaten, but I NEVER find any of this kibble left in the bowl. A part of it might be the very small kibble size ... my little guys don't really like to chew :-)
Happy kitten
My kitten loves this food and I have to keep my adult cat away as he will happily enjoy it too. We keep our pet food chicken free as my dog is allergic and to be on the safe side. There are very limited options but this one is a great go-to
Kitten doesn't seem to like it
We tried to switch our new kitten from Purina to this. Unfortunately, she doesn't seem to like it much. She's been picking out the Purina and leaving this. One of our older cats has a chicken allergy so that's the reason we switched. There's not a good way to keep older kitty from eating young kitty's food unfortunately.. hopefully she adjusts and learns to like it otherwise it's back to searching for a chicken free kitten food
Both my kittens love Halo!
Both my kittens love this! One of my kittens that is about 9 months now is especially very picky but seems to eat Halo well. I tried royal canin GI diet dry, Purina dry etc. The picky eater kitten also has GI issues and Halo seems to help that issue more so than the other dry food. The other kitten of 8 months usually finishes all the portions I give him during his meal feed. This is when they are being fed twice a day. Not when I free-fed dry food (younger age).

Chicken free!!!
One of my foster kittens ended up being allergic to chicken. She weighed less than 1 pound at the time. It was so hard to find a food locally where the kibble was small enough for her to eat. I finally checked Chewy and found this product. All five kittens in the the litter loved the food. Thank you!!

Great ingredients / Not the best for picky eaters
Needed food for my two kittens that had no chicken protein in it. The ingredients in this food are great! However my kittens didn’t gobble this up like they typically do with their food. They still eat it but will pick at it a lot before finishing. I found that adding some water to the food makes it more appetizing to them.
