Pets with sensitive stomachs may need to transition a little more slowly to avoid any digestive upset. If you introduce the new food too quickly and your cat or dog experiences some digestive upset, just back up to the previous transition amount where your pet wasn’t having any trouble and feed that amount for a few more days before continuing with the transition. Once your pet is eating all Halo food, if you switch between Halo recipes, consider a 2- or 3-day transition to minimize stomach upset.
While I feel Halo's dehydrated treats are healthy and good products, the cats didn't like the rabbit as much as the chicken. It's a denser meat and therefore harder treats, so I cut them in half with a knife. The cats like it, but love the chicken. I will probably not buy the rabbit again, but only because the cats have spoken.
Chewier than the salmon. Smaller chunks are great for little cats.
My cats and dogs seem to be very fussy. They did not like them. However I think there are probably many dogs and cats who would enjoy these. But mine prefer the chicken version of this product.
I had never ordered the rabbit. But decided to try to give my babies a variety. They love it and the small chunks are great for my tiny chihuahua and yorkies.
I ordered the rabbit Liv a Littles loving the fact that the picture portrayed realistic pieces of meat and not those cubed artificial looking pieces you normally get with freeze dried organ treats. I was disappointed because they looked exactly like the latter. It's just my bias because our boy ate them up just the same. Guess my aesthetic preferences don't matter in the long run, so I'd order again.
My cats did not like them. They love the beef, chicken and salmon treats.
My cat will eat these if there's nothing else but prefers other treats by far.
This is the first time I purchased farm-raised rabbit freeze-dried treats. My 4-year-old cat, Sunny, is very picky. He loves the freeze-dried chicken treats. I ordered chicken and rabbit and he seemed to like the rabbit at first but after about a week he didn't want anymore. So we went back to the chicken and he is happy. I will give the rest of the rabbit treats to our Min. Schnauzer, Stacy. She likes almost everything especially fruit and carrots. I want the best for my pets and I think Halo is good so I will stick to their chicken treats.
My little Shitzu's like them but not as much as the liver or chicken ones. Good size for smaller dogs
This is a nice product but a little tough if your cat has a problem chewing or no teeth. Otherwise I say try it!
