Hi, my little dogs are old and missing teeth. Most dry food are in little bites which actually are hard and crunchy and they cant eat them. I tried the freeze dried food. They don't like it. Should I just feed them canned food only now?

Certain canned food textures may be easier for senior dogs to manage. You can also soak dry kibble and freeze-dried food in water or broth to make them softer for your dogs.
Halo chicken freeze dried cat treats have sodium phosphate- how many mgs of salt is being used?

Halo does not test for the sodium content as it is not meant to replace a meal. It is only to be given as a treat.

Freeze dried dog food and treats are actually made from cooked fresh foods with nearly all of the water content removed through a special process. The meat is usually taken straight from the source and placed inside a freeze drying machine. This dryer will drop the temperature of the food until frozen, then apply a small amount of heat while concurrently extracting moisture from the meat.
Why is carreegean listed in the ingredients? Whats it used for? Is it safe to give to cats?

Carrageenan is a carbohydrate sourced from seaweed. It’s used used as a binding ingredient. This means they are used as an emulsifier and as a thickener. These treats are safe for dogs and cats.

dogs love em

This is a new brand I've tries . Comes in its own plastic jar with lid they are white don't know why the last brand I bought were a brownish color . Not that it matters cause these are by far my dogs favorite treat that they shamefully act cute and beg for .I literally have to hid the package so they don't see them .These are lightweight and easy to break so I can give appropriate size for my 8lb.verses my 30lb though my smaller one thinks its unfair she get a smaller piece.

My cats love these!

I have 3 cats and they all have really different tastes in things. 2 of my 3 really go crazy for them but the third won’t even sniff them. Buy a small container first to see if they like it first. (Tip: sprinkle any leftover dust on their wet food!)

Not good anymore

I used to buy Halo all the time for my cats, but the quality has really gone down hill. It has become very dry and almost too hard for the cats to chew.

I've been buying these freeze-dried treats for many years and am so glad Chewy sells the larger size. My 3 cats are crazy about them. They also make a good topper if you're introducing a new food or feeding a fussy cat. Since the only ingredient is chicken breast, I have no concerns re their quality and nutrition content.

Dig treats

Very disapppinted in this product. My dogs love freeze dried chicken but when I received this SMALL container it was a few pieces of chicken but 90 % dust. Not happy at all especially for the price I paid for it.

Cats Favorite Treat

My cats absolutely love this treat. They even have figured out how to open the cabinet they are stored in to get at them. Only giving 4 stars because half the bottle is powdered.

They loved it!

The cats loved the chicken! It was a bit messy as it was quite powdery when crumbled. I just ended up pouring the last of the container into their bowls.

Win-win for feral and domesticated cats & dogs

Everyone loves these and they are a healthy treat. Containers do a great job of keeping them fresh. There were lots of crumbs at the bottom, but they gobbled up every bit. Even the feral kitties love them, although they were puzzled at first. Suspicious of everything new, they were hesitant until one approached and tasted. She loved it and came back for more. There is no strong to humans. These are a great treat for cats and dogs!
